I love this progressive style that was big around 1999-2003, so many good tracks There's something about the way they're repetitive and just relentlessly hitting you with the evolving sound.
They had the skills to keep you drawn into the track as well .. I find new music to not be as interesting or intriguing, it lacks emotion and depth and because of that I struggle to connect to it. Its all very throwaway. And that goes for many styles of music not just dance/trance!
