I agree with RW Billings about joining the appendant bodies quickly. In 2003, I did these things masonically: January: Petitioned Nederland 1368. February: Initiated. March: Turned in EA work, passed, turned in FC work, and was raised. April: Turned in MM work. June: Became Senior Warden. August and September: Chapter and Council degrees. October: Scottish Rite from 4 to 32, and Shrine. November: Bought Endowed Membership at Nederland Lodge. December: Commandery. I joined the Grotto in July 2009. Why did I do all that in 2003? I wasn't traveling very much for work. By 2008, I traveled about 25 weeks per year and continued until retirement in 2023. I bought life/endowed memberships as I could, and now have them in all bodies; this helps as a retiree!
I havent mer RW Billings, but whenever i was in Dallas at the Scottish Rite building back in september, i got to meet brother Joe Bennet (district instructor for district 14) and he had nothing but good to say about RW Billings.
I love the statement that this f your Masonry and my Masonry are different, there is nothing wrong with that and maybe it’s time to find the lodge I can click with the most.
The structure of pro and con debates can coerce people towards dishonesty and be used as a weapon of those with simpler faith. Using it as a virtue can actually become amoral in practice. Christ is for mercy of the simple faith, or we would not have St Dismas.
Wade Scheeler is outstanding!!!!!!
He gets a lot of love from the Minnesota York Rite.
Love your work Brian Byrd!
Thanks for listening

@bradki5ulrtexas807 facts! Everyone's masonry looks different., as long as it is legit Freemasonry.
