Isometric training holds 20-60 sec has been a supper power for my grappling. Got crazy strong and actually increased my cardio

Yielding Isometrics, they are indeed great for muscular endurance

@@NoRockinMansLand You can do overcoming isometrics for duration too.
I do 15 second reps, one after another.

I started to doing low phase pushups while doing DDP Yoga and eventually move that slow motion to some to my other exercises and oh boy. 😅

    Great video! 💪🏽😄
I do a lot of isometric work, but I do it with inversion boots. It's the best way, in my opinion. Fighting gravity for a long time with not only your muscles, but your breath and blood, is a very effective way to level up quickly. There are videos on my channel related to this as well.

    Recap:
    - Grappling requires BOTH dynamic and isometric strength
    - a study showed that you could determine the level of MMA fighter (amateur, professional, elite) by isometric lumbar (lower back) strength
    - Experts recommend a combination of heavy dynamic strength training (heavy weights), isometric strength training and ballistic/plyometric power training
    - isometric training compliments strength development in dynamic training

You should talk more about how isos and concentric only training don’t get you sore and you recover super quick…the eccentric is actually not natural in nature…think about it..before weight training why would a warrior or a hunter want to be sore. No benefit in nature for any human or animal except for rehab to grow when doing nothing after eccentrics…might be worth to do a video

You can do dynamic training without getting sore. Strength training tends to involve higher rest times, and lower reps not to failure. Hypertrophy training to failure is what tends to give DOMS.

I really like the info you put out on youtube but I will never be willing to pay 200$ for 6 months of S&C programs. Would you ever consider selling the programs individually for 30-50$ each? Jeff Nippard does this quite successfully

Hey man! Thanks for the feedback on pricing, it's always hard to balance accessibility with quality.
I have definitely looked at offering individual programs, and that is something I'm still considering.
BJJ Strong Online is not just gaining access to off-the-shelf PDF documents for 6 months; it's a full-encompassing platform including access to a fitness app, virtual face-to-face coaching/consultations with me, courses on nutrition, recovery, BJJ comp prep, online community, and a full mobility section. We have over 400 videos in the library.
I love the Jeff Nippard reference, but he has 4+ million subscribers, so it's an unfair comparison of what works for him. For what he's offering the $30-50 price point is very fair.

I've been thinking about this a lot. I think you might be right. I'm going to make it happen.

Hey bro just wanted to let you know that I've spent the last month changing my pricing model away from Subscription to one-off payments for lifetime access. You were right, it is the best approach.
Thanks for helping me realise it.
