    Nice to see what they do. I use the mini max and have caught 9 bass at lake dardanelle. I am always catching them with it when I go. Don't have a boat and go when I can stop there after a job. Either on the way home or while I am in town.

    The Stealth Jackhammer did exactly what is suppose to do be more Stealthy. Like you were expecting it to have some crazy action.

      I just kind of expected it to run a little more erratic, it’s just crazy how quiet that thing runs!

    I wonder how chatterbaits work for saltwater? It seems like a snook, redfish, cobia, jack or other gamefish might hit them in the right conditions. Windy days or muddy water, maybe at night, I wouldn't be surprised if they hammered those lures. Might work for trolling.

      I bet they would destroy them!

      @@JD_Fishing awesome! I used to have a tangled mess of ruined lures hanging from my bedroom ceiling when I was in my teens. Like a 2 foot long and 6 inch around bundle. I wish I had it now, some of them would be fixable and worth something.

    Man I have a bunch big saltwater chatter baits. Big foil skirts with soft plastic trailers. I kill 30 and 40 pound strippers in the tidal River. They get sick over them. I have about 10 left I bought them about 10 years ago. Hard to find big salt chatter baits in 1 to 3 oz range.

    • @JD_Fishing

      That’s awesome! I bet that bite does NOT suck!

  • @waldnernick1

    I pool test all my baits and trailers on them.

    • @JD_Fishing
      @JD_Fishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn’t want the trailers to change the action. Everyone throws different trailers so I just wanted the straight action on the baits

    • @waldnernick1
      @waldnernick1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JD_Fishing For sure. It makes a huge difference on all those baits, I can only imagine making a video about that rabbit hole. But playing with them in a pool is a great way to learn how they track. We also played around with changing the leaders out and bending the blades in different ways. Very interesting baits to tinker with.

      @@waldnernick1 for sure man, I can’t tell you how much I learn about baits that I’ve thrown for years. I throw them in the pool and it completely changes how I fish them
