What I’ve learn in life after growing up in a very war zone family is that I will never put hand to destabilize peoples marriage. I don’t sleep with a lonely sexually starved married women even if they beg me too. I don’t advise married men against their wife never. Marriage should be prayed for. If people in marriage needs financial help put it the way it will benefit them. It’s not easy at all. It’s a union not to be tampered with.

We create our own happiness both male and female...The happiness of a wife is not tied to the husband...Besides, are wives always happy even when all is provided for them? Saying a husband should get all that is needed for his wife to be happy is creating unnecessary pressure on the husband which can never be a complete reality. Husband and wife should find what makes them happy...not replying or expecting their happiness from their spouse.

What about wives who took her family from her husband when his source of income failed. Pls let's also talk about wives and her struggles.
There's been a pattern of fake or greedy pastors entering into the lives of vulnerable women and influencing them to either emotionally or physically deal with their husbands esp in older age irrespective of the man being a Provider all his life. It's so unfortunate, whereas the wife would have also offended her husband in the past but he overlooked it. A woman telling a greedy or fake pastor all her marital problems in Nigeria is aiming for poverty and a toxic home for herself (things would have become so worse by the time these false prophets are done with the women).

Mr. there's nothing modern about marriage Marriage is the oldest institution and it takes experiences. to make it work perfectly .
If you live abroad you will understand what he meant by a "modern marriage." In Nigeria or Africa men have the upper hands in marriage but in abroad women do. Everything is equal even respect. As a man you must be gentle otherwise your wife will throw you out of the house. Dr. also mentioned that modern marriage is controlled by the govt while old marriage is controlled by traditions of men or our culture.

I want to ask: in the abroad, how has the deviation from the "patriarchal" rule in marriage help the family structures in those countries? Yes, the women now have "rights" but the family is falling apart. Very soon there would be no marriages over there anymore, just hook-ups when you feel horny.
