Don't let the "need" to be creative ruin the adventure, relax enjoy the trip and each other. Creativity will flow in it's time, stress can block that flow. Love the video, travel safe.🇦🇺👍
Cooper Pedy is such a unique town, nothing like I've seen anywhere. Stoked you two are living your dream, just enjoy the adventure the creative juices will flow when your not stressing about the content and just living. One Life, One Search, Shane
Amazing video. You guys are amazing you are the people who help and get me through life. I feel like its Christmas when i see that you’ve uploaded. Keep being amazing and amazing people love you guys wish you all the best from New Zealand. Also your creativity and everything in the videos are perfect
Coober Pedy is an amazing place as long as it is not summer months when you visit... Like Jack I loved the chance of noodling in the mullock heaps (piles of mining waste).... Even if you don't find anything it is a great experience. The inground or underground accommodations are as good or better in some cases better than any motel room you will find anywhere., It truly is an ancient place full of rugged beauty, mystique and wonder... Glad you liked it guys, and looking forward to your visit to Uluru.... Shame you cant climb it now... Take care guys.
So with the "creativity"....in all honesty the more raw the video and the more it's not scripted makes me want to watch you guys more 😊 just live your life and record and we will watch 😊
Been in the remote and rest is that we all need, nothing wrong Jack and Megan with your content it is out of this world thanks for sharing epic episode greetings from South Africa
I worked at Coober Pedy in the early nineties for a few days maintaining the airport fuel tanks , was a lot of wild ,wacky and strange people who lived there. Thanks for bringing back some thought provoking memories for me 👍
He’s got the fossicking fever! You guys should try having a dig in a few spots around Australia. It’s so much fun! There’s some great spots around Glen Innes. A nice place called Waterloo station 😃
Hey Jack,Megan, nothing wrong with your content. We absolutely love your happiness on all your uploads. Stayed in a underground motel a few years ago it is a real eye opener. Thanks for another great vid😁😎.
Another great vid guys. Don’t try too hard on them because your natural work is your best. We watch you for what you have done over the first lap. Don’t be like others and be something your not.
Challenges of being content creators, feeling that you have to be entertaining. Adding cinematography & videography with music overlay can be a pleasant escape also. 🤠
Terrific vid guys! When I drove into Cooberpedy, I just had to stop and take it in, it's so surreal. I loved the underground churches, so beautiful, I didn't stay in an underground house though, that was unreal. Cheers
Great Ep guys, yes the outback is so quiet hay, I can not travel by myself anymore, I got to travel in a convoy or with a mate or with my wife and kids, I get so homesick by myself,
I loved Cooper peddy but dad didn't want to do much. Managed to get him on the 4 hour tour. That was very informative. I'm going back one day and staying awhile.
Definitely a town we would like to go back to and get to know some locals who could possibly take us out and do some mining! That would be an awesome experience hey.
Great video guys! Coward Springs has to be one of my most favourite spots. Been there twice now and had the spa all to ourselves both times! Drove the Oodnadatta Track to Coober Pedy, going through the worst dust storm ever. The Breakaways out from Coober Pedy are great for sunset or sunrise shots if you didn’t get to see them.
Such a beautiful place hey and the owners were so nice! A dust storm would have been interesting! We actually got some spectacular sunset shots at the breakaways!
Thanks for such a great episode, I’m so happy to see you going remote. There is nothing better on the planet than Outback Aus, makes my heart happy ❤️❤️❤️ And I can not wait to see your reaction to Uluru, it’s so so special.
dont over think the "creativity" .....what you guys do best is being yourselves and that shines on screen. You have a nice balance of personality, inter-cut with drone / scenic / location / content etc. You could add a bit more detail and content about your locations, dont think because everyone else has made a TH-cam video on Coober Pedy or the Oodnadatta track that you cannot show it, show your experience of it and your thoughts. What do you mean by being creative ? do you mean how you film content or what content you produce or looking for a different angle on same location? looking forward to your next ep...
Thanks for watching Graeme! We just felt like we where having an of couple days with creating the video doubting ourselves is what we think the problem was! But now back on track! 😊
Dump their 'Tailings' I know what you mean about loosing your 'mojo' but you guys are still producing 'Top Shelf' content. I really have to congratulate Megan on the terrific edit and camera work. Marty from Perth
You too make me laugh so much, thank you. Brought back memories of 2011 when I did the Oonandatta track. Loved it. Coward Springs was sensational but no date scones, so best I go back next year. I was interested in hearing you have struggled with content as well as being so remote. Relax, personally I love watching your videos & I am sure I speak for most of your followers. I loved the remoteness & look forward to it again. I will definitely go to Dinky Di’s in Cooper Pedy. 😊
Thanks Niel! Gotta get back and try those date scones! 2 for $5 😜 drenched in butter 😬 the remoteness of that camp was incredible the silence at night was out of this world!
Hi guys. Love Coober pedy. Not sure if you did but lower tyre pressures down to 25psi on the corrugations it will help heaps. Keep it up. White cliffs Have the dig outs and andamooka is an opal town to.
Megans dad told me about your youtube videos. So a new relative following you guys. Know Megan now better than i ever have. Great content. Enjoy your travels, looks awesome.
I don’t know what you’re talking about re lack of creativity. I’m seeing pieces of Australia from angles I never have before and I absolutely love your videos. Keep that lack of creativity coming ha ha !
Hey Guys. I dunno why... but i m in freaking love with your content. Its absolutely brilliant. This video just appeared in my list randomly this week and i started watching every past videos since then. Its very happy to see how you guys are enjoying the freedom of the life that most of the people dont have. I am from a tiny little island from south Asia and my dream is also to visit Aussie and explore the nature one day as you guys are doing. Please continue making brilliant content like this. Wish you all the best & Much Love 💕
Thanks so much for the kind words mate appreciate it! So glad your enjoying the vids. Hopefully you can make your way over here one day to do some exploring! 👍🤙😊
Good on you Megan - STAR WARS FAN! I have two daughters who are massive star wars fans. Queen Padme Amidala’s dress is their favourite. The Rocket is how most camps here doing there heating when there is no power. PS @thatgreentroopy had some issues with their tyres maybe chat to them👌
So lucky 🍀you guys had the hot springs at Coward Springs to yourself. I too haven't seen it occupied by just the one group on all the other videos I've seen. I see Jack is still hesitant to jump in the water. 😁 Coober Pedy, another bucket list destination of mine.👍
Content is content, doesnt matter if small day to day activities or planned with sponsors etc. Just keep it real, i for one lose interest when channels start to go full tv grade productions and "sell out", but prefer to watch people like you guys who dont bs and are genuine. Keep up the great Work =)
Another great vid guys, your content is great don’t over think what your doing, make yourselves happy before anyone else, looking forward to your next adventure, stay safe.
Brilliant, thank you both for sharing your travels, I would have loved this lifestyle but being in the UK that ain’t happening! I’ve always longed to live in Australia, have visited once and have another planned, can’t wait! Keep doing what you do, don’t stress about continually having to come up with content, just be yourselves, you are giving people an insight… thank you 👍😃
Hi I wish I did what you two are doing when I was younger! 👍👍If you watch Vin Diesels “Pitch Black” you’ll see where the prop spaceship came from. Just watch out for the monsters when it gets dark🤪🤪
You can stay in some parts of cobber pedy that are 100% underground. It is very eerie waking up in pitch blackness in the middle of the day with that musty smell.
The only way to be is "remote", we search for those spots😉. Noodling in the tailings! Great fun. It's been 40 years since I've been back up that way, it doesn't look any different.
Was definitely cooler than outside, was such a great experience! Appreciate that mate! We are always striving for our next video to be better than our last but are coming to learn that creativity ebbs and flows! Thanks so much for joining us on our journey Bert ☺️☺️
Great video guys. Was there a couple of yrs ago and stayed at Riba's underground camping and caravan park. The tunnels were so big u could drive your car into them and camp... amazing place 👍
I'd be interested to know how the new tyres go I'm thinking about buying them myself and appreciate your unbiased down to earth opinions, those lil things are great to add in your videos and is just another reason I love watching your videos, keep up the great work doing what you do and remember to enjoy yourselves :)
Hey mate they’re honestly not bad and noticeable difference from the wild peaks we had! Wanted to feel confident when hitting the rough corrugated roads and so far they’re brilliant. One thing I noticed is they’re not a chunky tyre not much tread on them. Maybe something to do with new technology that’s gone into them not really sure.
I was out that way in February it such a great feeling being so remote i did a solo trip with my dogs. if i didn't have a schedule i'd still be wondering around out there. put lightning ridge on your list another quirky town. love your videos
Jack & Megan. Definitely nothing wrong with your content etc. Maybe you're too hard on yourselves. Keep on keeping on!! Loved this one. Chris. Alice Springs
Hey guys love these vids and the effort put into the cinematography and story telling it’s absolutely awesome. I was looking to get Razr’s too and was just wondering if you let your pressures down at all when hitting dirt roads to help with the corrugations? Cheers guys keep being you it’s awesome and such an inspiration👌
Hey Brendan thanks for watching. In regards to the tyres they’re brillant so far. Also I always let them down to around 25-27psi makes a Huge difference!
Hi Jack. Great content mate. How have you found the quality and performance of the flexible solar panel on the roof of the troopy? Do you think it will last a while?
Hey mate It’s been on the roof for about 2 years still pumping in enough power to keep the fridge running. Would recommend going 120-150watt if you can. Ours is only 110watt. Very surprised with how well it’s still performing!
It is a very different place. Remember the first time I went there 40 years ago. Lol, thought I'd walked into a Mad Max town. Less to see outback but in a strange way you appreciate it more.
now digging for the Opals, much more exciting that listening and singing to Harry Potter :) cool videos.. you need to show more wild life close up, lizards, spiders, snakes... what ever you come across lol
Hi guys love watching all your videos think you’re doing a great job just wondering if you guys are going to Drive through the Highcountry in Victoria when you come this way
