Suzanne, your tip to use coilless pins in the points is genius. My mind is blown. Blocking is such an unpleasant task, I always feel like I’m fumbling about, even though I’m not bad at it. Your blocking tips are so good, I really appreciate you!
This is my favorite way to block! I use this method on all my scarves, even chunky garter stitch scarves. Slipping the blocking wires in while the fabric is dry is so much easier! I totally agree! I love your tip on using the bulb markers to shape the points. That's genius Suzanne!

I’m knitting a shawl with merino single ply and I don’t want to soak it because I think it will felt a little - I think spray method will be perfect for it
You have a good eye. Yes, it is styrofoam. I find that my knitting dries much faster on a non porous surface. It is always good to options, Nancy, it's never a one size fits all in knitting! 😊
Thanks for sharing. Is it possible to block this shawl with just wires and T-pins (without those colorful blocking pins)?
Yes you can! Happy knitting.
Suzanne where do you purchased the blocking matte without marking square. Thanks great tutorial.
As you are not a fan of blocking wires, how do you prefer to do it? With the blocking pins and a long ruler?
Thank you for your fantastic videos
I use pins and a ruler. I have a hard time getting blocking wires through wet wool. Happy Knitting.
Спасибо большое!!!!

What are you blocking on? Styrofoam?
