Pete, when you get the blades back from the sharpener, and you're ready to put them back on the mowers, is there a particular torque you put the blade bolt back on with?
No. I use my dewalt. I haven’t torqued a mower blade bolt in 20 years.

Ok Pete, you convinced me to give this a try. At a minimum, cleaning the equipment makes it easier to inspect for wear and issues.
I couldn't agree with you more about a clean mower sells quickly. I wash my mowers down in the fall when I put them away for the winter. I sold them last year and got a surprisingly good price because of I took care of them.
I like the sound of the detail brush when the video speeds up. Always makes me laugh for some reason

I love my 21" Y-Bravo, it has more suction than any mower I have ever owned. I do use the high lift adapters on the blade.
One thing my dad taught me, take good care of your tools and equip. and it will take good care of you.
Can’t wait to your two step correction. Like you I have watched Pan and many others. Did my SUV for the first time last week. Used Koch Chemie compound/polish with a MaxShine DA. Was very happy with the results. Not hard just very time consuming. Didn’t realize my vehicle had so many nooks and crannies until this task.

Nice video Pete. It would be great to see you have Connor Ward come visit to see your Smooth Stalked Meadow Grass - it normally takes 2-3 years before the grass matures enough to start to look its best and he is the master of KBG Grass and Reel Mowing.
Looks great. A little 303 on the plastic surfaces will help maintain color and prevent cracking for years to come

I’ve bought many push mowers over the years and every one started leaking oil after tipping it backwards like that to clean or inspect. Oil leaks through the air filter. How do I prevent oil leaks and buying 50 filters per season? Never use commercial push mowers only residential
A two blade Honda set is the same price as the sharpening service… I’ll just buy new blades
Be sure and sharpen and balance the new blades. They need it even though they are new.
For all those people who say "I have OCD" this is real OCD.
