Great video ! agree with both of you.. 86 proof ? that sucks... buy OF Rye ($20) or High West Double Rye (under $40) which are both great Rye's .... can't pay $160... ouch...
Greeting fellow Wisconsinites! Thanks for the review, wish I watched it before buying a bottle of their cask strength. My liquor store just got a few bottles of the proofed down 8 year for 130$ and no age statement cask strength for 140$. I don't hate it. heck if it were less then 80$ I'd pick up a second bottle. Defiantly a rye drinkers rye. very heavy up front with cinnamon and clove and a touch of anise. Disappointingly thin with a flavor that lingers pretty well but barely evolves from start to finish.
Orphan barrels are one of the strangest marketing concepts in whiskey. "Here's some stuff we forgot about and/or nobody wanted so it just sat here forever."
I just found you... love at first view! "This is karl Marx... not St. Nick"
I think this is my first viewing of your series and I’m all in and about to watch all the others!! Great video guys
Thanks! I think I've got them all added to a playlist now so they should be easy to find on our channel.

So many things that are so much better and over $100 cheaper.
Always wondered about this bottle. Thanks for the advice and Merry Christmas. Love your content.
Merry Christmas 🎅🥃🎅🥃

That sounds pretty decent, but that price just sinks it when you can get the Alberta Cask Strength for like $60.
I love a good roast !
I had to cut some stuff out. Not sure how litigious the folks at preservation are 🤣
I loved this review. You guys were cracking me up. Thank you for telling it like it is.
Thanks for checking us out! Cheers 🥃
So this is a sourced bottle from orphan barrels acquired in the 1980s.

Happy holidays. Sorry about all the Amazon
🥃🎅
you guys saved my money😂
Glad we could help
Nice video guys. Wondered about this one. I definitely don’t like the price on it.
The price is just silly when you consider other offerings like Alberta Premium are out there at less than half the price.
"It's Not Bad" "It's Watery" "It's Awful" 😂😂😂 Must be the Crystal Clear Water 😂 Don't worry....I'll buy the next one 🤦♂️🥃
Watch as our attempts to justify the purchase vanish before your very eyes! ✨✨🔮🔮

Dude your editing is amazing on this one.. What software are you using?!
Thanks Ben! Using Final Cut Pro X
No muddy water... already know it's not worth the price...lol!

Haven't tried it, but won't now
You're better off without it.
I cannot drink my bottle without getting heartburn...... terrible
I started to feel a little funny a little while after drinking it too. I wonder what the hell is causing that.
I had Rare Perfection 14 at a bar and it was the single worst pour of any spirit I have ever had. And i hate gin lol.
It's absolutely terrible!
