Combo execution may seem challenging at first, but when you get used to it it's pretty simple you just need to work on hit step by step and you will get there eventually, maybe try new settings too
@Allons_yana in games like mortal kombat the strings are all what you call dial in inputs, which means you can basically input them as fast as possible and they will come out at perfect timing everytime.Learning this shit helped me a ton with mk11.
@@XxImStarvingxX bro you know the tutorial challenges for every character in mk1? I try the dial input thing and it doesn’t work lol. You have to time inputting certain commands or else they’re gonna fail :(
@@Allons_yana ok so for certain actions you have to manually time them, the dial in inputs are like a buffer, which means the game reads the inputs, stores them and does them whenever it's able to do them.Stuff like comboing after a launcher and into special moves is more about clean smooth inputs than fast inputs in mk,so essentially, say you want to do a launcher that's a string into a jumping combo with a special move to extend then land into a follow-up string, you could just do the first string as fast as possible, time your jump or hold up forward during the entire string, time the first hit of the air string with when your character is about equal height with your opponent,do the special move as clean and smooth as possible(try to hit the button and final direction at the same time)and then finally you do the last string as fast as possible too. TLDR:Input strings fast or atleast try to practice doing them as fast as possible,do special moves clean and smooth(If you input the strings fast you have a lot of time to make sure it's a good motion).Timing really isn't that important in Mk atleast when compared to Street Fighter and Tekken.
Just use B4 to end combos if you use Darrius too far into your extensions. An alternative to that, is F4,BF1(Clap) depending if you wanna reset the situation at +14 or fullscreen
Late comment but in the second combo, how do you manage to quickly get the forward 4 after getting back up from Darrius’s spin kick? No matter how quick I dash, I can’t get the forward 4.
Bro how does anyone get this good lol 90% of my button inputs don't register quick enough to keep chaining combos

You tryna teach me how to not be cringe at the game lol

Np, it's all about the timing of when the darrius spin hit after the B4
Wouldn't be more damage to end some of those combos with Darrius' combonation attacks?
Now this is the dmg i'm looking for
lol that first combos didnt even connect
you're right, and I tried to do it again but yh it seems like nothing can connect after F2, ty for noticing i'll edit it out
