Im confused how the A's could be as bad as they have been for so long. Its the neverending rebuild lol. Im a Jays fan i remember when we traded for Donaldson that was suppose to be them rebuilding... well never happened. Then they let Semien walk to us... then they trade Matt Chapman to us (and Olson to Atlanta)... i remember the Sonny Gray years too. Seems like when ever a player shows promise they just trade them and restart the rebuild. Odd business strategy lol. They have no household names. Theres no poster for kids to put on the wall or jerseys to buy. They just sell every year. Make it make sense lol

I hope the best for the situation but I’m just curious how ohtani spends 24 hours a day with dude and “didn’t know” about any of it. A lot is not lining up and it’s unfortunate.
