Please do a guide about how to summon the portals for each boss like for example if you want to do Sirus which maps do you gather, etc. Usually beginners don't have the map stash where you can see which ones do you need to gather to open the portal, stuff like that showing which are the uber bosses / normal bosses , etc. That guide alone will help end game a lot for beginners (including me)

One note for the VoD - The POT University symbol being in upper right is where Ziz puts a lot of stuff. Would be great to have that be lower left vs. upper right or to work with Ziz on his slides.
"with 7 you can get any map of a tier higher" But why does that matter, I feel like your explanation is lacking the importance of completion: - Increases the drop rate of that map, least important as you already have the completion benefits - Allows progression to even higher tier maps - Gives an atlas tree point for magic find.

The endgame is poe is so good and i love the atlas tree , last league i used about 300 orbs of unmaking to respec It's so nice to do a past league mechanic for like a few days and then switch to a different one , you can do maps, delve, heist, legion, farm guardians for boss fragments..... Last league was my best league in 4000h , i finally killed Maven and farmed her a bit , i'm just really bad at the memory game :D
"you will forget and remember the next map -> oh, there was metamorph monster" can't even count how many Fing times in a single DAY that happens to me xD had to delete the mechanic in atlas tree to keep myself sane for a while, because i forgot like 5 metamporhs in a row xD

I really enjoy doing ritual and legion, and also enjoy farming essences and strongboxes, but no one has made an atlas tree where I can do all those 4 things at the same time. How does a new player, go about designing their own atlas tree, is my question.
Technically, neither leaving a map, nor dying uses up a portal. it's ENTERING a map that uses up a portal, and you may want to re-enter after both of those (or a disconnect), but you don't have to. someone else could enter the map and finish it up, if you feel it's too difficult (for instance, if you rolled reflect of a type that your build cannot cope with).
Feeling so overwhelmed with everything end-game, just finished the last act since a week of starting POE. Playing the lacerate gladiator. Not even sure where to start getting the 6l gems and such.
Coming from D4, I am baffled by the number of different end games experience there is in POE. I started maps in the standard league a few days ago and I am just trying things out. Yet, I never saw the Atlas tree so I opened maps without knowing their level or what it means to be connected. I understand why I got destroyed most of the time, barely ending the map before being out of portals :)

I love how people forget so quickly POE wasn't always like this it BUILT UP to be a godly game it wasnt a good game on release back in 2013 it took quite some time to build up content and for the game to "feel" good.

I have been struggling for a while in POE (Since the 3.15 player power nerf) and have not gotten any void stones for several leagues. How do you get this quest started? Do you need to spec into these bosses on the atlas tree? Any help would be appreciated.
First ARPG. Beat the campaign on console and literally none of this was explained. They just drop you into the lobby and that's it. 4 characters you have no clue how to interact with. Giant map machine that has no explanation. Literally no tooltips or tutorials on how to proceed to do anything. Just a "now you can play more" message. I quit and never looked back. Now, I'm here after building my first PC.
I want to get into Path of Exile, but I am so overwhelmed. I want to learn many of the things naturally, if possible; I just want to be able to have a semi-cool build for a first time player that would be good for showcasing the game and at least gettiny me to the point I can do all of the acts the maybe very early mapping.. Then after that, I'll maybe know enough to know what next build I want to do and what I'd like to learn from that point to become more intermediate with my knowledge.
I've been following your build guides for a few leagues now. Sometimes I find a random unique while leveling or in maps, how would I know if any of them are any good? If they're not mentioned in you build guide.

I know by Zizaran's standards I am bad at this game. I tend to play an ice mage and I can get through the story now though I still have to grind through the stage 10 boss because I sometimes die like 10 times in that fight and yes no exit key used by me, and I never buy stuff so ssf player only. So yeah at some point fairly early in the maps i get stuck and I clear the map maybe but I have like zero xp progression because I die too much. At this point, I usually just quit :( I have used the crafting table to fix resistances mostly. But I never have stash tabs like Ziz does where he has 100's of fossils, I have like maybe 2 ever. No buy so never any useful sweet gear that other claim is easy to buy.

The actual end game of PoE is spending a few hundred $USD on divs and then buying giga gear, then grinding meta to try and make money selling divs or selling mirror service. It will never not be that until trade is dead.

On the new atlas tree there is exactly 100% chance to drop maps 1 tier higher. If you take every single node giving it, you will have 100% now.

Do you follow a build or you do your own thing?
follow some guides, it's easier and you can focus on mapping/mechanics and dont have to worry about build.

I am doing SSF for first time, with only 2 campaign completions and limited maps. It's hard to find SSF support info so I enjoy it
