Why benzaldehyde cannot give Fehling's test ,after all it is also aldehyde so it should easily get oxidised then why can't Fehling's soln. oxidise it ???

Namaste Sir,
I have a question about Fehling's test that I gave yesterday in my school lab.
Sir, My chemistry teacher gave me sample compound that he want me to find there group. When I perform FEHLING'S TEST with compound it gave me pure copper metal mirror foil like silver mirror test on test tube's wall .
I observed the copper metal just like silver foil on deserts(sweets), by putting out the mirror like structure on test tube's wall from rod. It was pure copper ( I think).
My question is that, how copper metal mirror produced when I perform FEHLING'S TEST? ???????????
I does not find answer of this question anywhere on internet.
I am willing to know how it is possible.
Please sir try to accept & give answer of my question.🙏
