Oyster Pond look like very chic with villas and lot of coconuts trees
Oyster Pond is beautiful but still heavily damaged today. All of the houses at the seaside (at 59:15 and further) are damaged and not habitable.

I wonder if brining a car from the US worth it as I moving there soon. You use mph or km/h there? I see you have mixed vehicles there for sale some have euro plates & some have US type plates on them. Last time I was there SiriusXM Satellite Radio got signal there which as nice.
They use km/h. They have two different plates indeed; Good observation! The France euro-plates and the Saint Maarten types (the US style). The Sint Maarten types have two be new ones each year!! really strange!. Each year a new color....
The other half is a french territory. With french (E U)plates system

@@asankovlogs Telem sells SIM cards. Also on the airport. Esims are not available only via resellers for crazy prices. (1 GB for $50,-)

@@asankovlogs I think you can rent a car at the airport. My car is always arranged for me when I visit the island. If it is possible rent an France car because then they can’t recognize you form your licensed plate that you are a tourist. The license plates from rental cars from the Dutch site have a R as first letter.
