I have visited quite a few islands but St Kitts and Nevis charms my soul. I lived there for 8?years and would love to return for the food, the beaches and the hospitality of the people

What a beautiful, clean and well structure society and the people seem very friendly and hospitable. St. Kitts & Nevis seem like a place I would considering retiring and spending my last years
My adopted island, love it visit almost every year my inlaws home land, i have so many aquaintances and special friends their...lovely clean and calm ......always look foward to return on the island....the ppl are helpfull and friendly...peacefull.....

I took this same tour about 7 years ago with my wife & kids, but we were in a safari type truck with no windows on the sides , it was all wide open ...made for SUPERB viewing throughout the tour, I strongly suggest the open safari type truck over ANY van or closed in vehicle. Will definitely go back & shoot the entire tour with my 4k video equipment.
But u can explain for me why each video I watched about hotels in st kitts looks like empty

Thanks for an excellent video. I like how you did this on a day when you could drive slowly. it must have been a holiday or Sunday. You even covered the cemetery and different types of residential areas. I am surprised that the encloses for the fuel storage tanks are not that secure. Well done. I am impressed with the videos I have seen on St. Kitts and Nevis. Basseterre is clean and beautiful. Will put a trip here on my bucket list. They surely have a very progressive government.

My husband was married to a girl from St Kitts...Yvette Sutton(Steward) They lived in the UK after marriage but very sadly Yvette passed away with Lupus. David used to write to a Miss Hanley at Cleverly Housing and Joseph Manchester was headmaster when he taught at the school as a VSO.

Thanks for showing us what St. Kitts & Nevis looks like. Just wondering about what appears to be a lack of shade trees shown in the video. People walking around exposed to direct sunlight might be difficult for pedestrians. Other than this, the country looks quite peaceful with a low population density, which is a good thing.

Wow! I took this exact same route when I was there in 2019. I turned down all the same streets walked by the same swimming pool even drove past the same maintenance man working on the side of the street... and strangely enough, the van I was in played the exact same sound track you used for the video..... or wait, maybe I've already seen this video. 🤔🤔

You would hardly hear of someone killing a tourist on the street in the Caribbean. A lot of killings in some places are gang related and you will not be involved.

Hey Archie, that's a good idea. We did get to walk around some residential areas but didn't have enough time to film them. Tell authorities there or GOV if uk to put mastic asphalt layer on all streets That wud be more decent than those dull grey cement streets
Cement roads last 10 to 20 times longer than asphalt road ..communities road are concrete and main highway is asphalt for a smoother ride , plus asphalt coast is much cheaper
Why is it no expensive European or massive V8 American cars over there almost? I saw one piece of BMW 4 series only while watching this video
I guess there isn't a market or demand for European or American vehicles. Other car manufacturers/brands ( Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai etc.,) are more affordable and cheaper to maintain.
Simple common sense, the Japanese dominate the eastern Caribbean market.Their vehicles are better on fuel and more maintenance free. Not that there are no other vehicles, many people only drive their Mercedes and Lamborghini on special occasions.
PATCHES /REMOVE ALL THOSE ROUND ABOUTS AND REPLACE THEM WITH TRAFFIC LIGHTS
Why must everything be expensive and be European and American. They are not American or European islands. I see a bit of supremacy here. With the income they make, I doubt that people would be able to afford luxurious cars. Things like that is what expose people to be targeted and robbed. Smart people do not show their wealth with luxurious cars in the Caribbean.

IN AND AROUND BASSETERRE /ST KITTS / EVERY LIGHT POLE SHOULD HAVE A LIGHT / LET THERE BE NO DARK SPOTS IN BASSETERRE / LIKE FORT STREET / PUT THOSE LED LIGHTS / AND GO AROUND THE ENTIRE ISLAND OF ST KITTS / THANK YOU FOR PAYING ATTENTION
This should be addressed to the government. You should be able to get their address on the official government site. It serves no purpose here. I doubt anyone of them looks at these videos. Also the citizens of the islands.
