Hello I’m sorry but it’s been so long I cannot recall. I just went to my hairstylist and showed her a picture of what I wanted and she recommended a hair dye .

It’s doesn’t have a specific name but you can find them at any of the beauty supply stores or you can use “ EZ detangling brush “

Can you do this hairstyle everyday? Or does it damage the hair if used daily? ( I've heard gel dries out your hair)
This hairstyles last for about a week depending on how well you take care of it so you don’t need to do it everyday but I also wouldn’t recommend you doing this every week. Let your scalp and hair breathe. So probably every 2 weeks would be best .

The ecostyler olive oil coils up and doesn’t lay flat!
I’m not sure what kind of hair texture you have but I know everything doesn’t work the same for everybody. I used Ecostyler with Argan oil and it worked wonders .
I have thick 4c hair. Can I use these products to get this style without a relaxer?
LaTia Pruitt yes you absolutely can as long as you have the silk head wrap/scarf or Durag it’ll hold in place

LaTia Pruitt the wrap will be better just make sure you get the gel on different sections of your hair if its thick and also style on damp hair
How long does it last, queen?
Mine lasts a week but it definitely depends on how active you are. I work out a lot and sweat in my head so it doesn’t last as long
How do you get the back to stop lifting
It depends on your hair length and how much gel you put at the back there. If you have short hair like I did in this video it is easier and requires less gel. So just put more gel back there and then hair mousse and lay it with the silk wrap at the back
How long did you keep it in
Kay Kay it can last for about a week hun once you keep it wrapped up at night
