This song makes me want to buy it alone! Shake my hand as your pissing on my leg!(Far Behind) Brought back some old lyric memories(I'm old...crap), but I still use that saying today lol. I just got a notification the new Hope v4 brakes are in though(mmm purple), so this weeks bikes parts budget came and went in the last 30min.

@@FanatikBikeCo the Float X and DPX2 both has a lot of pedal bobs, I tried different volume spacers, I maxed out the air pressure and even tried the shockwiz. nothing helped. I switched to the Rockshocks super deluxe and Bomber CR coil, they seems like the only solution i've found. My OCD won't let me run the Rockshox when I have a Z1 fork.
@@KeoOutdoors So unfortunately I *suspect* that the majority of that particular issue is due to the frame and its suspension kinematics, and less so to the shock itself. So bikes just have more anti-squat built in to help prevent pedal bob. You may be able to improve it by running a different size chainring, but I don't have enough info to really know. - Dan at Fanatik
@@FanatikBikeCo I have a fox 36 rhythm which is practically the same. Just find it harsh on small bumps. On big drops offs and big compressions it a great fork.
Depends on what you are looking for out of a rear shock. There isn't necessarily a "better" shock, its a matter of which shock suits your needs best. The new Bomber Air is certainly a winner when it comes to price and performance when compared to some other shocks, but again depends on what you are looking for and what fits your needs best. If you have specific questions about different shocks and need help picking one out for your bike give our customer service team a shout at sales@fanatikbike.com and we can help answer any technical questions you might have!
@@FanatikBikeCo whats so different?? im building my minishredder, santa cruz tallboy LT, with 140 fox 36, cascade link, im thinking this might be a good option for the shock.
Made me feel like it was 1992 again rockin to Social D! 🤘
Great song choice!
Hell yeah, ripping the Chuckanuts!
I have the z2 front shock. It's such a awesome suspension fork. 👍
I have one too, once you put in the upgraded seals and foam rings off the 34 factory it is a beast of form.
Great paring with my dpx 2
@@nebnollock5198 put a Grip 2 on it lol. I’ve seen it before no joke.

Does it have more support for heavier rider vs the DPX2 or Float x?
What sort of issues are you having with your Float X and DPX2? What have you tried to help fix it?

@@FanatikBikeCo ahh, make sense. thanks!
Do you recommend putting the grip 2 in the bomber z1?
Depends on what you are looking for out of the Z1 but it is possible.

What makes this shock better than the others ?

Looks like FOX DPX2
Looks similar but doesn't ride like a DPX2 at all. Great shock for sending it!
