1:51 *Himiko:* “My tribe! I found them!” 🧛🏻♀️ I feel like “The Apology Song” should have been fleshed out a bit more to show the villains AND heroes in training how powerful forgiveness can truly be. Because Heroes and Villains are cut from the same cloth as both are born from tragedy, regardless of the circumstances. No one is ever inherently born evil. In the Danganronpa fandom, Junko’s very birth was a tragedy when she was born power turned curse which razed the world. The same with characters like Himiko Toga who’s quirk influenced her personality just as much as it did for everyone else. Yeah, I’m kind of routing for a Himiko redemption in the finale, but my dreams ALL MIGHT be dashed with that. Earlier in the series, I would have been interested in a Dabi redemption but I feel like, similar with the Joker in “The Killing Joke” movie, it’s far too late for him as he is to far gone to be saved from the darkness and hatred (no matter how justified) consuming him. It’s similar to Cinder Fall’s tragic back story with the different between Dabi and Cinder Jerk is that I hate the later a passion as fiery as the Todoroki family’s flames and pray daily that she gets no redemption. It’s been 8 volumes in and she has killed penny and murdered Pyrrha. My hated for her is so bad, I can’t even emphasize with her backstory. That’s saying something since I could emphasize with flipping Salem, and I hate her a person too. I lost focus there. My point is that I DO hope Dabi can forgive everyone BUT Enji in the Todoroki family.
