Oh boy, I have P ranked the whole Ultrakill so far and the Ship of Fools challenge "Don't touch any water" broke my spirit. Getting to the part where the ship flips and you accidentaly dip your toe in the water killed me from inside.
i watched the entire vod when it came out and enjoyed it just as much as this video. i love all your content. also, whiplash doesn't build up hard damage when you're underwater anymore. there's a notification about it at the start of 5-1, and im sure its new. another change i noticed is in the last room of 5-3 the four enemies that spawn on the right used to be soldiers - they're strays now.
These levels were a pain in the ass to p rank, but it feels oh so good when you finally do it. Now we wait to get destroyed by whatever ungodly abomination Hakita decides to put in P-2
Your Heresy runs are reminding me of the agony I've put my wrist through doing it. They still hurt. Don't let any toxic comments get you down, these p-ranks are truly the hardest in the game thusfar, and you should be proud you've done em.

Angry and Rude can be completely blasted with a simple railcoin setup if you stand between where they spawn and you're lucky enough that they both use a stomp attack, I uploaded a clip where I accidentally did that before I realized you didn't have to kill Angry and Rude to get p-rank on that level.
great video! also, did you find the way to kill gabriel without entering the arena? you can do that if: in the little corridor just befor the p-rank door, ther's a hole on the roof, but befor going in, just go open the door that lead to the boss battle with gabriel, if you dont do that, the room wont load, and you wont be able to fight him(oh and to trigger is fight just walk on the roof, the cutcenes will trigger, and then gabriel will teleport at you, you can also make him fall to the void when you beat is first phase)
im inpressed at the fact that we dont have melee stuff, this game whole gimmick is that getting close is good so why dont we have a sword or a guitar or even the double machetes like agni and rudra

I hate when people gatekeep in this game. I suffered on v2 but deleted Gabriel easily and my friend had the opposite experience. Besides you don't have to be good at this game whatsoever to enjoy it.
Interesting how the idol don't break with those saws. I think its because the idol is programmed as a normal enemy with like 1 health but becomes invincible when touched by a projectile or hitscan attack that isnt a punch, so when saws are hitting it, the punch is unable to deal damage.
I wondered if the punch just prioritizes the saws but this explanation makes sense too. Either way it was on me for doing it twice and thinking the second time would go any better 💀

I know what it is, basically while they were attempting to punch it, they instead punched the sawblade, because you are able to punch sawblades to change their direction if there’s no magnet
400% the game by p ranking every level including sisyphus prime, (which yes im aware wasnt out when this video was made) on EVERY DIFFICULTY, and getting EVERY SECRET, *AND* getting to wave 50 cybergrind on every difficulty to unlock the starting on wave 25 then you will have nothing left to unlock in your save oh and also catch every size 2 fish

good timing for parrying the ferry man is the little ting you hear when that blue or yellow flash is occurring workings pretty well for up close and decent for far away.
Tbh the dont touch water challenge on first level was the hardest thing imo, the p ranks were not really that difficult apart from the first and second level, the rest were not that difficult. It was a great experience seeing you play ultrakill and I cant wait to see you play p2 when It comes out
I recently did a 5 Streak of this challenge and I have to say that it is painful, but if you know the environment around you and are aware of your next steps then it becomes just that tad bit easier
13:30 i think theres water outside the walls and when act 2 came out with rocket riding it was glitchy so i think you phased through the wall a bit just enough to touch the water outside, because water is out there for aesthetics maybe
Haven’t watched much of the video but some advice for the insurrectionist, parrying the malicious face attack leaves them stunned on the ground for a few seconds, I believe I recall someone even punching the face after they were downed for what was basically an instant kill
fun fact: pump green shotgun to 3 times(1 away form self explode) then grapple ontop of Maurice shoot switch to blue and shoot and he ded takes like 2 sec to kill on all difficulty even violent
Going to be honest I never expected to see someone be so bad at what I'm great at in the game and be so great at what I'm bad at in the game feels to shows how you could have a variety of play styles with multiple cons and benefits

Yeah I dunno they just had my number, I don't even really struggle with the regular single Insurrectionist ever, I also didn't feel like going back to change my loadout even though saws would've been REALLY helpful. It is what it is lmao.

a quick tip please, PLEASE, parry the orbs from big head dudes, it deletes their health and it takes two shotgun shots to the face to finish it off quickly , especially if you shotgun parry the laser.
I accidentally cheesed the 6-1 boss bc one of them jumped off the edge I have no clue what happened lmao I just kinda saw one of their healthbars dip and I just accepted it
