I'll put my Naturopathic hat on for a moment: If you decide to get a mat, because you're aware of your sensitivity, you may want to start using it for only 30 minutes a day in the beginning. Some sensitivite people find that slowly increasing usage helps to minimise detox symptoms. Not everyone gets these symptoms though (I didn’t), as it depends on your biochemistry prior to use. If you or someone you know does detox via the mat, you can be certain the electrons are working their healing magic. Just something to note as you're a HSP 💜✨️💜
I've been dealing with hypo-mobility while recovering from my injury. While the mat doesn't directly improve mobility, it helps reduce the inflammation that makes it harder to move freely. My nervous system is also sensitive, which is why I like something like this that helps in a gentle way. In saying this, some people have a slight detox reaction when they begin using the mat because they're receiving a boost of antioxidants that are instigating healing.
