    Also, you're doing a fantastic job for people who can't afford expensive french classes and yet want to learn the language for something cheaper for immigration or any other purposes.

    I´m Brazilian, and English is my second language, speaking French is a dream for me since I was four because I used to watch the cartoon Madeline, but I never had French classes because I live in a small town. Last year, with this pandemic, I improved my English, and now I'm 16 and learning French.

    I just have to say, it is so pleasant to watch your videos! Usually I have a hard time following video courses, I find them too monotone and dry. However, watching you feels like I'm having study sessions with a tutor I feel comfortable with. I like the addition of cultural and extra linguistical information - not too much to overwhelm me, just enough to spark my curiosity and motivate me on this journey. And overall, you are so natural in front of camera! Thanks for what you do 🌞🌞🌞

    Respected Ms. Allicia, I am learning a lot from your lessons. There is no comparison of your Pronunciation, Proficiency, and Pedagogical Style on youtube. But, I felt that you didn't explain the pronunciation of "Y" in this lecture. I suggest that it should be explained too with the same stress as you put for "e", "g", etc., as its French pronunciation is completely different from its English pronunciation. It's a humble suggestion because I want to see you on the top. Kind Regards. Ehtisham (Pakistan)

    • @lingoniFRENCH
      @lingoniFRENCH  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello dear, and thanks a lot for your kind message.
      To clear this up, I could tell you that the letter "y" in French literally means "Greek I" : "i grec", that is why you find it so different in terms of pronunciation and everything. Does that help a bit? You are right though, I could have given the explaination of why it is pronounced this way and what it means. Take good care.

    Grand-mere, de la Normandie, autant que je me souvienne, avait employée les “R” d’une manière plus fort que les autres régions de la France. A votre avis, C’est vrai que les Normands utilisent leurs R’s un peu plus de l’arrière de la gorge? ou Non? Comme le nom de mon père...Rene ...Grand-mere disait: rRRenE...comme ça

      C'est possible oui ! Il y a de très nombreux accents en français, en fonction des régions, et le "r" peut en effet être plus ou moins "appuyé"!
