Billie had an actual stalker, who repeatedly showed up at her home, asking her father if she lives there. Later, he sat down at her porch and began reading a book, engaging in monologue. When security showed up, he got up and laid behind a wall, preparing to spend a night there. He also frequently made threatening hand gestures, such a "throat sitting gesture". A judge later granted a three-year restraining order against him. Creepy story 😬
Actually there were two stalkers. The porch guy was sent back to New York. The "Satan" guy who made "throat slitting gestures" was much more disturbing than the other one, imo.
I love the chorus in this, this song just has such a dark and sinister instrumental like something out of a movie, I’m really here for it. And the cars remind me of the weeknd’s performance, it’s so cool

and the sad thing is she has body dysmorphia, depression, anxiety, and self-harm- so every sentence she says is probably true just in a “code” if you will.
its not her songs honestly. its how she’s showing her true colors. she has a shitty boyfriend and said a racial slur against asians, then called her fanbase embarrassing. she also said she related to a white girl on a black cartoon (the boondocks) which isn’t a show for her, idk how to say this, people or any other race in general for that matter other than the intended audience (black people) because the show has a bunch of stereotypes and struggles of black people that us black people as a collective can laugh at, but as a white person watching the show and laughing at it and saying you relate to a character who uses a blaccent and is from the suburbs and kinda weird and offensive.
@Tamir Holmes around the time when she said it, she wasn’t that small. even i knew not to say racial slurs at the age of 11😐. that doesn’t excuse the fact that she called her fanbase embarrassing and said she related to a character who uses a blaccent on a show not intended for her audience.

The thing I love about Billie’s music is how creative it is. The production and artistry of this song is what makes it so cool. Things like use of autotune for that electronic vibe, the intense bass during the chorus, having the “bridge” at the end, and even her vocals being more “spoken” make it so interesting and engaging. Some of her music feels more like an immersive art exhibit than just a song, especially with the music videos.

@@kevinbaker7794 that makes no sense. have you never cried in your life? it's not specific to the eye based on the situation. you can distinguish happy tears by the fact that someone is fucking smiling while crying lmao. not the eye it came from. even the emoji shows that 😂

"Did I take it too far? Now I know what you are" - did I take the fame too far, now I know what it is to be truly famous. References to selling herself again, common sentiment around fame and entertainment, not being able to be saved by fame but locked in its grasp, how she craves it but doesn't want to disclose it. @Char I agree with you. I deeply hate the autotune part, not just in this song, but in any song. THE CRYSTAL CASTLES COMPARISON I WAS WAITING FOR SOMEBODY ELSE TO SAY THAT !!! Absolutely adore them.
That isn't autotuned, it's a robotic effect. She used it in "when I was older" also. Not a huuuge fan of it, but still love the song! Also, I was hoping he'd notice the smooth transition to "there for I am" at the end. lol
It is autotune but there are different types of voice effects alot of singers use melodyne
@@user-os5ly5xx3j Yeah I just saw Finneas's story lol
yooo omg i’ve been waiting for this one
Your song reactions always on point
That’s definitely one of my favorite songs of Billie! It’s so intereeesting, but still feels so good!
FINNEAS did some genius work with the production once again 👌🔥
personally i'm not a fan of the auto tune, but i feel like she can do whatever she wants to 🤷♀️
It’s not autocorrect it’s a robotic affect on her voice she did that for when I was older
@Char I agree with you. I deeply hate the autotune part, not just in this song, but in any song. I love most of her songs, I think she is an amazing writer and singer, I would have loved this song too if it wasn't for the autotune part ... it just scratches my ears in a way I can't put into words. I don't mind people using autotune in general ... do whatever you like, but this noise effect it's just uhhhhh... too much.
It’s not auto tune… it’s a vocoder SFX
@@alangreen142 i honestly had no ideea, i am simply someone who enjoys music, not someone that studies it, however you call it, it's unplesant to the ear in any song, not just here.
@@mariamermi971 I’m pretty sure that it’s a vocoder
"I like it, it's weird". Literally describes Billie's music perfectly.
she always keeps the black screens to avoid advertisements at the end.
I love the chorus. Wish the whole song had the same energy/sound!! So good!
She leaves the black/blank space at the end so the TH-cam "suggested videos" doesn't cover the actual video.
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
About the songs being different, I think it’s a good reflection of how awful and crazy last year was. 🤍🤍
I love this song so much, like legit my fave billie song
“If they're tryna party with the queen
They gon' have to sign a non-disclosure” 🌝🌝
I love you sm literally you’re the only vocal coach that I like watching their reaction videos
God i was fast for this one.
Bless
I was expecting this. Glad it came. Thanks!
“I like it, it’s weird” 😂
I have been waiting for this video since it came out
