@QueenoftheNorth I think that Mimi willingly takes a back seat to Josefin and allows Josefin to take the focal point of the group. I think Mimi is probably every bit as good a vocal talent as Josefin and it will onnly be a matter of time before we see what she really can do. That being said, I think Mimi is overshadowed by Josefin and I think there are some people who will be shocked when they hear what she is actually capable of.

They have a channel now, and both of them are putting up new videos, some solo, some duet, so they are expanding their skills. I have to say that I sort of felt the same way, at first. But, Mimi gives Josefin something to orbit. I no doubt that at some point they will sing solo, but right now Mimi being 2 years older offers some stability, and gives confidence to her younger sister. I also selfishly want them to sing together a while because there is nothing like sibling harmonies. It also helps to have someone you trust around at that age because I am sure things will get chaotic and it is nice to have a safe harbor.

Mimi (15) on the piano has a stronger more pitch perfect voice than Josefin (13). Mimi is the rock and Josy is the uniqueness of the duo. Both are good singers in their own way but together they are great.
This is the best description of their individual uniqueness. Many, ok most, of the observers on this channel get excited when they hear Josy the first time. But I have listened to this video literally dozens of times and the moment that makes me smile is when Mimi sings "wierdooooooo", she just anchors the song.

@@alanschechterly245 I am 71. I have hear 'em all. Beatles, Byrds, CSNY, Everly Brothers..... no one has made the goosebumps rise like these two sisters. I totally understand why they chose BossHoss (what an obnoxious name) as their coaches (experience!!!!!). But I really felt for Lena, she was just crushed when the choice was made. I am waiting for M&J's album to come out.

Boldly held views as usual which is good! I think what was unusual in Josefin's voice was pronunciation rather than timbre. Other clips show their voices are very similar. They have grown up immersed in music and I look forward to hearing more. Let's hope the universe cooperates.

If you watch their back story and how they got here you will have a better understanding of them both. They get their music ability from their dad who is a musician and their singing abilities from their mum who is an opera singer. I just hope that their parents let them grow up with a normal life and don't burn them out too early...just saying

The way Mimi sang Imma weirdo" Solo is magical and Easily surpasses her sister, her voice is music in itself and the base of all songs they preformed together, in my opinion Mimi's voice wins the race in every single scenario. So, I totally disagree with you.

I think the piano player (Mimi) is way underrated. When she draws out the "weirdooooo" with such guts and feeling.... Whoa. I also deTEST the new obsession with "affectation" singing. The only time I even liked Josefin's singing was when she was in a duet with her sister, plus Mimi plays the piano, which is the backbone, backdrop and anchor for the entire dang song. I almost clicked away the first time after getting to the "You floa li a feaaatha". Hate that. Hate it. Use your own damn voice, not some invented pronunciation. Ugh. Unless someone tells me that's how she actually speaks. Then I take it back. Anyway, Mimi all the way, but both together are magical.
Josefin makes that pronunciation to show more of her vowels, she has like this rock type voice, and it's magical. You may not like it, but that doesn't mean it's not a cool thing to do, many artists sing that way. Although I do agree that Mimi is underrated, she has a lovely voice and sings with great technique. But I feel that many people are more surprised with Josy because they don't expect her to sing that way, she's just a kid and she has a very powerful voice, it's hard not to be surprised. But it's clear that they both have an amazing talent, just their styles are different, but when they put their voices together they create an even better style that they couldn't sing alone.

Shitty review, whole length of the video was she saying Josi was better than Mimi, I don't agree, but that is not the point, even if that's her opinion which is fine, it should've been a short comment about it and then talk about the performance as a whole which she didn't do at all!
