My family and I had dinner this evening at a restaurant named KōNōKō. It's a high-end Caribbean restaurant. The food was beyond good. They had a pasta entrée I wished I had ordered that seems similar to this recipe. Perfect timing😅 because this is now on my list for dinner tomorrow! Can't wait to taste this! 🤗
06/08/23, 12:26 pm. Made this recipe last night and it was AMAZING. Just ate again for lunch, oh my goodness. Even better the next day. Unfortunately I couldn’t get my hands on the green seasoning until July, so i used WalkersWood Medium Jerk seasoning (since I’m not a big fan of so hot you can’t taste afterword,) and it worked out fine. Thank you so much for this recipe. Gonna add it to my favorites to serve. ❤❤❤
Yes if you press down on it and roll a few times it breaks down the fibers. To get the most juice out of them, stick it in the microwave for no more than 10 seconds. .. Juice for days. 👍🏽
Mayne I'm used to making my own green seasoning but I wouldn't mind at all getting that jarred stuff. I couldn't find it. Even on walkerswood site. I made some jerk chicken leg quarters over jerk pasta. Soo nice
I use a juicer to optimize juice. Don’t leave those limes on the counter. They dry our. Put in a bag and refrigerate. I’ve heard you can microwave them but I haven’t tried that.
May be making this for a work fund raiser potluck!!! I’m just scared that with all this goodness, people gonna wanna hire me to cook this all the time! 😂
Where did you find your Walkerswood green? I also live in the 757 and I loovvvee your videos. Walkerswood products are a staple in my home, but I’ve never seen that green before.
Awesome recipe. I'm going to try it out when my first Good Chop box arrives next week. The meats in my local supermarket are horrible. Needed somewhere new to shop. Thanks for the information on Good Chop and the recipe. Love your channel!
Thank You for sharing this recipe with us, it looks very tasty. Where can I purchase that silver food thong from that you were using to flip the shrimp?
Looks good. Shrimp sounded a lil bit crunchy though. I love your recipes keep em coming. Btw, can you make a fisherman's platter? I've been trying to get the perfect batter for clam strips, scallops, and fish w/o using cornmeal. Let's face it I don't think seafood joints uses cornmeal here in Massachusetts. I know your on the west coast been subscribed to you and Ab for some yrs now. Thanks
Sooooo, where the Walkerswood Green Seasoning come from 👀 I have almost everything of theirs in my kitchen and have NEVER seen a green seasoning from them….

Just got my first box. I am impressed with the quality. Will see how stuff tastes.
As a Jamaican, once you pull out the Walkerswood, pimento, escallion, thyme and rolled the lime, I know you’re legit! 🇯🇲👊😀

You keep saying our pasta…I AINT GOT NONE YET!😂 Looking gooood!!
LOL
Press down on the lime as you roll it therefore, breaking down the inside’s allowing for the juices to expel into the shrimp when you squeeze them.

Microwave then roll.

What is the brand of the portable cooktop your using? And what size pots and pans can you use for it?
Put the lime in a microwave for about 5 seconds and it will be juicy and easy to squeeze
You have to press and as you are pressing against the line your rolling it at the same time . That’s how you will get more juice
Looks super delicious my brother.. I've tried a couple of your recipes and the did not disappoint keep the content coming🔥💯👍
You have to push down on the lime while rolling it ! I can't wait to try this out on my family.

It's true about the limes, but the best way is to choose limes with smooth skin. Those are the juicy ones.

I added some andouille sausage and coconut milk
When you taste the finished dish and tilt your head to the left, I know it's delicious!

If you use coconut milk will it thicken the same as heavy cream?
Not quite but will be fine
U need a little coconut for that flavor tho.. Rasta pasta has a hint of sweetness from the coconut. And the rest is heavy cream
I use both coconut milk and heavy cream.
I love shrimp and this looks amazing!
Awwwww 😢RIP IAN🕊️💔My most sincerest condolences to you RK❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
