BRAHMA & CDC Soft-Hackled Nymph

The Braham & CDC is a double soft-hackle nymph that has great action and movement in the water. The two feathers act different went fished. The webby yet denser Brahma Hen Saddle feather creates an overall sturdier built look to the fly. The CDC hackle is much softer and moves more independently in the currents. The gold tinsel adds an element of segmentation to the body. This is a good fly for prospecting nymphing both dead drifted and jigged and as a wet fly fished with swinging and other presentation methods that imitate descending or ascending invertebrates. Tying this fly requires both the compensation and the wound hackle methods.
