I can't comment on her beliefs personally, but it may be a defense mechanism, since China itself is pretty socially conservative in many ways, so her more conservative values might shield her a bit, especially since she is a public figure active in the media.

Because the less knowledgeable ones think they would run out of males/females to choose and breed with. Kinda sickening hearing all those kinds of arguments really. No doubt she is brave and smart. But I do believe as a successful transgender, she could have done more to educate the public about LGBT issues, in which she has almost no involvement. How can she act as an activist, but speak as a conservative? To me it is a bit hypocritical.
That is what occurs when you have a society that builds into its structure this kind of population control, there will be a whole lot of males left on their own, this will start to occur in Sweden.
This is the sign of a society in decline.
