Can you fit a smaller watt bulb in this warmer that will still warm the wax? Something like the 25 watt scentsy bulb? I love the look of the warmer but not a fan of the Edison bulb.
If you said it I may have missed it but where do you buy your flicker bulbs and if you can say the brand?? Are you in the midwest?? Stores differ in different states/areas. Thanks for another great video!
Great point about the wax oils possibly affecting the iridescent finish. I’ve noticed a small area on the outer rim of my fluted grey dish that has had the finish “smudged” off. I must have had wax on my hand and smeared it. I’ve been cutting my wax cubes more often but I do typically man handle (or I guess I should say “woman-handle”) the wax quite a bit What’s your preferred method for removing the wax from your dishes?
Kimberly, as long as the wattage is what is listed on the bottom of the Warmer as appropriate, or lower in wattage our standards allow non-Scentsy manufactured bulbs. I keep pretty up to date and current on our standards and especially safety guidelines. Going higher in wattage generates too much heat for the socket design and could damage the coating on the wiring to the socket. If you like the look of a Warmer that takes a 25 watt, but it was too bright, you could go down in wattage, even though it may not melt that wax. But if you like the look and melt in something nearby it doesn't matter. The Flicker bulb I use is like teeny wattage like 2-4 watts and puts off no heat at all. I'm going to see how it looks in the upcoming Very Superstitious cat Warmer.

I use a cotton ball then wipe with a soft paper towel.
Never put a non scentsy bulb in your warmer. She should know that
