These cars are meant to drive and enjoy. When you get to be 55 years old, you’re going to have a few imperfections here and there, but who cares? If you want Corvette to put up on a pedestal, that is an absolutely perfect condition, you are missing the entire point. This car looks fantastic and apparently drives wonderfully. I’ve owned my 1969 427/435 since 1970 and have put 185,000 miles on it. I’ve driven it as often as I can and have enjoyed every minute. I hope whoever is smart enough to buy this car Treats it like a car and not like a trailer queen. Get in it. Start it up and go drive it. You will then understand my post.
I have been thinking about this and pondering about this over and over in my head for the past couple of days... You should have definitely pressed the horn button at 21:17 in the video, gave us a toot and let us of have a hear of that wonderful sounding horn..😊
Some of you may do well to give this car a break I'm pointing out all the flaws in it remember this car is 55 years old Yes it's had work done on it but it's not new and it never will be these cars are classics Yes they come with some imperfections just keep that in mind
Appreciate your test drive but I'd prefer viewing the ride as the driver would see it. I'll skip through portion of it watching two people drive and talk. Thanks, gorgeous paint...
I had a friend in H.S, that had a '69 SS Camaro with the same 350/350 HP engine. It was an extremely fast car for back in the day....if he hadn't had the predilection for always missing the 3rd gear shift I don't think he would have ever lost a race...haha!
I couldn't stop looking at the bad fit of the drivers side T-tops during the drive. What's up with that big gap? It was not addressed during the walk around.
The driver's side T-top fits the car just as it should. The interior panel on the inside of the driver's T-top is warped a little from age and that is what you are seeing. You are correct, we forgot to address it in the walk-around. Sorry about that.
The 69 I had that crack on top of the fender will go down to the wheel well opening the front shakes on rough roads and will crack both sides. The one I missed out on was a 65 396 3 speed on the floor of course I was 15 at the time and had no license lol.
I am sorry, but this Corvette is already sold. We are able to ship to Australia, but I do not know off the top of my head what the cost would be. It ultimately depends on which port you have the vehicle shipped to. You could always reach out the Schumacher Cargo Logistics for a quote. That is the company that we typically use for international transport.
Yes It's an L46, after the LT-1 ended in 1972 they used this hydraulic camshaft with an iron intake and q-jet carb with the rest of the LT-1 assembly to create the L82 for 1973.
@@thud9797 So GM was allowed to use this radical cam after 1970?I was into Pontiac in those years, and they were forced by EPA standards for ‘71 to reduce compression and use milder camshafts. The reason they went to larger displacement, milder cams, for their performance packages.
@@babaoreally8220 Yes, they used the L46 cam in the L82 with the same 4-bolt block, hd rods, forged 9 to 1 pistons and 2.02 big valve heads thru 1980. For 78-80 the intake also went back to aluminum and the exhaust was 2.5" vs 2.25" for L48. You really got a lot of good parts under the hood for $500 with the L82, they got the deep high speed pulleys and also the ability to get the M21 close ratio 4-speed along with lower gears like 3.70, from 73 thru 75 you could even still get a 4.11 gear. Just needed to get some of that emissions junk off the car and those L82s would run.

Had exact vette Did the 383 stroker Mine was a 8 This example without touching it a 9 This black beauty has glory Mine would have been a ten My ex was a fatty and destroyed my passanger seat Just between us girls🎉😂 Prices
The interior is not that big. You would think that the A/C could cool it down adequately unless it is not operating properly? Gorgeous looking Corvette just the same . The black paint looks beautiful. It runs very well and sounds amazing Just a beautiful classic Corvette. Thank for sharing.
Problem 6 to 700 lbs of 200+ degree engine and transmission separated from the passenger compartment by 1/4 inch of fiberglass and some worn out insulation. So really everything in these cars needs to be addressed to get you cooled down. Can't deal with the heat like I used to, I need some good ac these days! 😀

It may not have a big block but those 350/350 hp 4 speed cars were very potent for 1969.
True, Chevrolet was very serious about this engine and could have even been ordered with 4.11 gears.
Impressive Saved Time Machine Would Love To Own This 1

My favorite year
I love the design of the C3. Like it was lifted off a schoolboys doodles.

Classic
LT-1
I had a friend with a pretty quick 68 firebird. He was always missing 3 too.
Red line tires would do well on this’69. Great driver car , fix the clock ❗️🇺🇸
None of them work. Lol
We need to see the underside and the birdcage access panels to check for rust.
You can bet most every birdcage has some rot, many did by 1980. One project Id never wanna bother with

@@rocksolidmotorsports Thank you I will call them and find out all the details
did the LT-1 350ci make it to 370HP by 1970 or 1971?
LT1 engine.Sounds like original cam in there.HS friend put one of these in his ‘65 Chevelle.
Not an LT 1. Too early.

Missing ignition system chrome cover for radio waves suppression. Red secondary wires need to be loomed correctly. They look like a red spider cobweb.
If it had power brakes and AC that would be a $50K plus car. Looks good though, nice condition
How much 35 thousand?
Yes, we are asking $34,995 for this Corvette.
If it doesn't have an air-conditioning it's a turd.
HOW MUCH😮$$
The pop up headlights will keep you busy replacing the gear bands.
Small blocks way underpowered by todays world

UNRESTORED ??? LQQKS Kinda ratty if you ask me !!
I've owned a,few c-3 vettes, talk about riding in an oven in the summer,, black,, brutally uncomfortable in summer months!
Even with AC, it struggles to cool down.

I dealt with heat pretty well in my 20’s. Couldn’t handle it now in my 70’s.
