Awesome vid, I've heard horror stories about these winglets breaking super easy on removal, but I've not seen anyone take them off like you show here, thanks!
yes be careful I ended up breaking one tab off the second time I took it off see got weak and I was rushing thinking it was going to pop off right away easy cause I just had it out .
Hi, not sure if you’re still active but I would like to hear from you about how you installed the winglets. I broke 1 clip when trying to take it out so I’m kinda afraid to attach it back. Many thanks!
If anyone ever stumbled upon this video clip, I would recommend to take off the whole grill out to remove/install winglets as you can see how the 3 clips hook on to from the back better. Otherwise high chances you’re gonna break some clips during the process cause those clips are just plastic (if you broke them, dont panic, just glue them back with super glue).
It is definitely easier to take out the whole grill but is very possible without I've done it both ways because I've took them apart a few times now have changed the wrap a couple times

You make it look so easy but it's not... No matter how hard I push mine doesn't slide off... Was it the first time you removed them on this Trek?

Wrap is way better .Find some 3m or avery Dennison somewhere like Amazon
Hell just spray paint them?!
