...I find it funny to imagine that Catnap was going "Bruh" at how Picky's idea of a breakfast can feed three soldiers... I mean, once you see him in the tree, he's clearly finding Bubba shoving Picky back to the house for a check up kind of amusing, so I can imagine Catnap going "Wha??" at hearing Picky's idea of "Breakfast".

Does anybody notice that CatNap was following the entire gang during this entire episode and the episodes before that? I wondered how the hell he knew in episode 2 that DogDay needed help... Well better help. It seems like he really does care about his friends even though he has an ominous aura to himself.

I like how it ended on a sweet moment with Bubba and Picky. He's doing this because he cares about her health. I do feel a little bad for Picky though, Hoppy and Kicken are gonna get so competitive that they will likely break Picky. Do kind of wish Hoppy would quit going for low blows with Kicken though. Kicken should never let go the broken leg bit though, not until Hoppy apologizes. I do feel bad for Crafty since everyone left her alone at the picnic blanket.

I swear Hoppy and Kickin have the funniest friend rivalry vibe 😂 and I honestly love how supportive and gentle Bubba is towards Crafty and Picky despite Picky being nervous and worried about the new changes. I wish they acknowledged Catnap literally being right there though 😂
Catnap seems to be one of those fair weather friends: there to help you when you're in a jam, but mysteriously absent the moment you are back on your feet.
Why would they? As one of my friends once told me "You're like furniture. You don't do much, but people notice when you're not there." Basically he's always there and does stuff when needed, but other than that he just vibes.

This was great! A lot of fun, and love how the captions are often their own humor. Also really like how “darker implications” (Picky eating bacon and a possible eating disorder) are handled in a way to still come off as funny as a “hold up,” moment.
Also curious how Catnap apparently viewed the potential shenanigans as worth waking up early for, but if the past is any indication, he may end up being needed as a mitigating party.
Also can’t help but think that that “calorie counter” only really works if Picky decides to really cut down and maintain a diet.
Also, Dogday and Bobby are going to be pretty confused when they get to the picnic and find Crafty alone.
I feel like Dogday is the primary leader that everyone nateraly looks to, but when he can't (or won't when referring to "The thing that never happened") he steps in to fill his role

With the sign at 4:06 saying "Don't Wake Up", it's giving me some...thoughts about why CatNap always seems to know just what's going on.
So what if Cat-Nap's put everyone in dreams and the dreams they have relate to each of their worst fears?
Like it starts out all kind and friendly until it goes haywire and suddenly people start to panic as if none of it was supposed to happen?
With Kickin Chicken, his fear must have been represented in how him trying to be the coolest got one of his friends hurt really bad...So underneath that cool facade, K.C doesn't want to see his friends get hurt.
With Dog-Day, his fear (As with every leader-esc character) is letting his friends down when he knows they rely on him to know what to schedule and go...so him getting sick must have been constant agony for his mentality, despite Bobby giving him support.
Now with Picky-Piggy...the fear of being forced to give up what they love and having to do what is essentially the opposite instead, showing more fear and more hesitation the more someone like Bubba or Hoppy tell them they'll do their best.
Cat-Nap is often seen in the background of the videos, always near where the most action is and far away from a quiet environment he'd most likely enjoy.
But in the previous two videos, Cat-Nap has always been the catalyst for its ending. He managed to kick a ball with the same force as someone who's SPECIALIZED in kicking to break Hoppy's lucky leg and managed to put Dog-Day to sleep in a matter of two seconds.
There's also the screen glitching when he showed up in episodes 1 and 2, the lack of voice lines as he's always seen watching, the mysterious signs he was carrying towards somewhere in episode 2, the black soccer outfit in episode 1, and he always seems to know just what to do to fix a problem.
So the active theory is that as the episodes go on, Cat-Nap is going to observe how they act towards their fears and help them overcome it to be more effective in the Hour of Joy...most likely for the pleasure of the Prototype.
But that's just a Theory...
I love this channel so much. It is very creative and making a vitalization on what the Smiling Critters show what of looked like *with some quirks*. And I’m also very excited for the next part I have been checking for the past 2 weeks for the part. Also she ate bacon strips that’s kinda dark.

Time for another comment of me just gushing about this whole thing cause it's freaking phenomenal. First off, you can REALLY see the love, care, and effort put into this. You already could see that in the last two, but the quality just went even higher. There's so much more movement I feel and I never even had a problem with there being less movement in the others, I was just not expecting it here. Waiting for this was HELLA worth and I'd do it all again for every episode, ESPECIALLY if they're gonna come out like this holy. Like when you say you aren't gonna cut corners and give the best you can, you darn well mean it and it shows. Mad, MAD respect bro.
Seems DogDay is maybe feeling better cause he arranged the picnic, nice! Love how Hoppy was complaining about walking "forever" but is immediately just super impatient and wants to move haha. Same with Kickin honestly, though I guess it'll take more than sore feet for him to turn down a competition with Hoppy. I love Kickin's freaking anime glasses btw that's even more perfect than him just having shades. He doesn't just wear shades, he wears the BEST MOST COOLEST possible shades lmao. I'm soooo happy we got to see more of the rad chicken boy let's go. Omg Crafty please turn down that cuteness I'm gonna die (no don't actually turn it down, it's amazing). "I had to separate them from the cereal first" BRO I WOULD LITERALLY DO THAT WHEN I ATE LUCKY CHARMS AS A KID WHAT. Well that just hit me with some nostalgia let's go Crafty, she a real one. The only true way to eat Lucky Charms.
Okay I could be wrong but Picky's humming was probably referencing a song that I can't think of and it's gonna bug me pfft oh well. Still adorable regardless. I'm not even going to try to ask how she fit all that food in her cute lil barn lunch box, when a pig be hungry they get stuff done. Bubba..."all that?" You say that like she finished unpacking, nah man that was just half of what she brought. Asking if Picky didn't have breakfast is like asking CatNap if he's sick of sleeping all day omg. All of the things she had do sound delicious though, I actually got kinda hungry watching that part hah. I've never had Mac and Cheese as a side with BBQ ribs, I'll have to try that somtime. Also I'm gonna just assume that the uhm hints of red on the bacon, ribs, and burger are just sauce and tomato respectfully...and that the bacon she had was either tofu bacon or turkery bacon lol. Ayeee so PB&J is her favorite food huh? It's definitely one of my favorites if we're talking Uncrustables man those are good. Dude these interactions with Bubba and Picky are just golden, don't worry Picky if you faint on the way back Bubba will just carry you the rest of the way pfft (if he can even really lift you).

I'm surprised with how much we saw CatNap ngl, I was not expecting to see him up in the tree all curled up like the cute loaf catto he is. I just thought we'd see his tail hanging down lol. Gotta love his glance at 3:31 omg. Yes I agree how dare they leave poor Crafty alone with CatNap, do they have any idea how awkward it is to try and have a conversation with the guy? For shame. We all know what happened after that tho.....CatNap came down, politely asked Crafty for a marshmallow, then proceeded to follow Kickin and Hoppy to Bubba's place.
Bubba looks SO adorable in his lil doctor outfit wth. I see he had to take a bit of a blood sample from Picky there judging by the bandaid on her arm awe. I'm sure it didn't hurt NEARLY as much as working out with Hoppy and Kickin will tho lol. Haha ofc she has no idea what having high cholesterol means, she didn't even know what asthma was. And there's Bubba showing off once again why he really is the "smart guy" he knows his stuff. See we all thought he was wearing the doctor outfit to be cute, oh nonono he actually has a P.H.D hanging on the wall somewhere. Him just listing off all the fatal symptoms and diseases to Picky wow hah he doesn't hold back any news whether it be good or bad. Just try not to traumatize your patients lmao. Okay for some reason CatNap's face here 4:05 just had me laughing so much I really don't know why but it's amazing. That's the best "ooooop, what's in heeeere?" face I've seen in a while. What makes it even funnier to me is I like to think CatNap is just unironically really happy about a new toy he got or something and that's why he has this dopey smile most of the time. Bro is just vibing. Ooo I see that easter egg in the eye chart there, "don't wake up." Welp they woke CatNap up so it's too late he is now involved oh boy.
Hahaha Picky realizing how she got this way, the frickin shook face was GOLD. "NO.....NOT FROM EATING GLORIOUS FOOD!!! THIS CANNOT BE!!!" Self control and exercise? For PICKY? Yeah this is gonna be a lot harder than he thinks. Kickin continuing his reputation of bursting into people's houses I see hah, least he didn't kick the door in this time. Speaking of heart attacks Bubba, you nearly had one there when the menace squad came in pfft. They were really pulling a CatNap and just snooping around the front door to ease drop wow. Leave it to Hoppy to slam Kickin with some good ol emotional damage, I'm sensing a theme here haha.
She did it so fast and effortlessly too, no fake broken leg required dang now that's talent. Picky is immediately so nervous about them helping her with exercising, she knows what's she's in for man. Aweeee Bubba saying she has an eating disorder and her reaction....I mean she does but you could at least be less blunt about it Bubba. We've learned from the last episode that being too blunt about stuff is definitely a thing with him he needs to work on lol. Picky getting that lil nose boop from Hoppy was so PRECIOUS dude, I can't take how adorable they all aaaare. Oof big mistake there Kickin you do not issue a challenge to most competitive rabbit around, she's right that is a road you don't wanna go down. But only Kickin has enough gall and ofc results to back something like that up. Bro Picky's face I'm dead, she is just shook. 5:23 that face just radiates "dear sweet gosh Bubba please do not leave me with them, PLEASE."
"Or any legs..." BAHA GOTTEM. No, no Hoppy. Do you even grasp how heavily you massacred my boi Kickin with that leg stunt? Neither he, nor any of us are gonna let that go trust. Don't worry Kickin you're good, Hoppy had this coming no you should not let it go lol at least for a while. Daaaw Bubba giving her that watch and some words of encouragement at the end there, that was super sweet. Even though he can come off as a know it all and be a bit too harsh with things at times, Bubba at heart truly cares about all of them and wants what's best. Him wanting to help DogDay feel all better in the last episode and how far he's willing to go to help Picky get into shape really show that. Even if uhm I think he definitely should've given letting Kickin and Hoppy of all people being in charge of her exercising another thought but anywho, moments like the end are just so good.
Fan flippin tastic episode and this was just part one. These always make my day when they come out and I can't waaait for part two (but will ofc). I genuinely couldn't stop smiling watching this, the writing, animation, all the lil details when you look around. It still boggles my mind that you voice all of these guys yourself, the voice acting is PEAK dude. Every single one fits these guys to a T, like dare I say I prefer the voices they have in these over their official ones it's just that good. You are beyond talented man, take er easy you have so earned a nice long break. Like you can just FEEL the care and effort put into these every frame. Like I said before, this whole series is 100% something special. I wasn't even into the Smiling Critters whatsoever until I saw "Leg Day." I never didn't like them, I just never thought much of them y'know just "your typical cute becomes horror mascot for this horror game" and that was that. Then here comes people like you who took them and made them WAY beyond that, now I'm hooked on these versions of em and I couldn't be happier. Bravo, just bravo and once again cudos to anyone who bothered to read all this I'm sorry I just get so into things I really like lol.

I genuinely like this… even if this is probably considered “cringe” I DONT CARE I LIKE THIS!
To be honest, i sort of like how the episode touched onto BED (binge eating disorder). Its in a light-hearted way, yes, and not treated with what people would have expected, but since SC was made for children, it was a good touch on the topic!
And they may show more negative sides to the exercise part as that could lead to a whole new can of worms and end up with Picky maybe developing Bulimia possibly (probably not but its happened before where a character who has BED goes from binging to then exercising to the point that they lose all the calories they had just earned up). Its a fun, lighthearted episode and its dealt right with the topic at hand fot Picky!

Yo Gem, just wanted to really thank you for the time and effort you put into these. I know some people get frustrated about how long it takes and have even said some rather negative things in the comments regarding that. I'm genuinely sorry for that and any pressure that may have caused while you were making this episode. I feel like the amount of the work you've done has gone under the radar for some so I just wanted to acknowledege and let you know that we all really really appreciate it. Like you literally do EVERYTHING yourself. This episode alone showed everybody it was worth the wait and then some with how high quality it is.
You really go above and beyond when you say you're going to give your best, a lot of people don't focus on that anymore. Like you could've easily with how popular the Smiling Critters are cause they are popular just pumped out episode after episode to get views and such but no. You take your time and put so much thought and care into each of these, wanting to put out the best you can for your viewers. That's dedication and hard work. This episode was phenomenal and again thank you for everything you've put into it and will put into this series. Hope you have a good break, you definitely deserve it and a great time making part 2 when you do. You the true gem my dude.💎
