OH BOY! I’ll tell ya what, I wasn’t expecting to have this much fun makin this lil parody, but this was ABSOTOOTLY a ball!
And just getting the obvious stuff out of the way, I do not own nor did i create the song “Poor Unfortunate Souls”, all i did was make my own lyrics and cover it as a parody. I Support the official disney classic!

CatNap has a deep voice, I love how it sounds ALMOST close to DogDay... But not completely! And it matches the storyline of Sleep Well, YES I NOTICED "can you see us?" "Can you hear us?" "WE WANT FREEDOM!" Very good details.

The beginning was my favorite, it kinda gave the impression of another experiment of Playtime Co's like an audio log from 1992 or closer to 1995 🩵

Holy smokes WHERE DO I EVEN START?!?
The critters all panicking and feeling hopeless while DogDay tries to comfort them, your voice acting showed the pure despair and fear they all have. And then CatNap comes in (love the voice!) and promises them something that won’t actually fix the problem in the long run, but knows that he can easily persuade (or manipulate) them in the fragile mental state they’re in. The lyrics fit perfectly with CatNap, and now there’s even more of a haunting energy to it than the original (which is already haunting)!
The art is amazing as always, and the change in the critters expressions from fear to the empty smiles is a nice touch! Also, your signing is amazing!!

Catnap is made to be a Disney villain and even sing a villain song. I like to imagine him singing him this song, be prepared, and friends on the other side.
Funny enough, I was gonna pick “Friends on the other side” at first, but then one of the OG Disney villain songs came to mind. And my brain said “bet!”

It is quite scary to see the smiling critters bandaged or with scars and wounds on their bodies and with the need to receive help from catnap to sleep and stop the nightmares or fear, they believe that catnap is going to take care of them more than anything the critters They see him as a figure for their protection and well-being, and Catnap only leaves them on a path that is getting worse and worse and Dogday's collar makes it clear to us that Catnap is not a good person. (excellent video, thank you 🎉🎉💯💯 )

I figured that, based on the dialogue, this was the Bigger Bodies versions and not the cartoon versions. This definitely has a real 'Disney villain song' feel to it. Good work!
I'm of the mindset that the Bigger Bodies versions and cartoon versions are completely separate entities.

I agree. I guess it's reminiscent of the early days of FNAF when some of the fandom would view the animatronics as the kids who were stuffed inside them instead of viewing the kids and animatronics as separate entities.

Catnaps voice makes a great rendition, of the song, unfortunate souls particularly how they’re able to still keep the haunting notes. It just rings properly.

Also nice transition: His closed eyes, then open yet empty while theirs have pupils. Then they all go empty as the gas fills the room, and now Catnap is the one with pupils. Proto's eyes at the end.
Poor Dogday. You can hear him getting shredded by Prototype when Catnap says *_The Claw_* .

I'll admit I was skeptical about the deep Catnap voice but it fits his character so well that I just can't get mad at it anymore.
Trust me, I tried to play around with how his voice sounds, but the deeper really worked the best for his personality. One of them at least.

.........first of all this is the second time in a row ya got me by surprise. I thought this was just gonna be a two parter short or something like the other ones...but nah dude made a whole frickin video. Uuuuuuhm so this was fan flippin tastic, I like....bro sometimes you leave me speechless. That first bit....again WOW. You sir can voice act, we all know this good and well by now but if there was ever something that proved how phenomenal of a voice actor you are that wasn't anything else you've done, THIS is it. I kid you not, I swear I'm not over exaggerating you made me feel tears start to come up.
I looove your versions of these guys and to hear them just....in pain. Like frick dude...what the hell why are you making me get emotional over colorful lil talking animal dudes from a mascot horror game. Right off the bat Kickin got me, listen to his voice you can hear every shake, every whimper, every ounce of him holding back tears to not cry in front of everyone....the way he says he "hates needles...they hurt a lot" you can't do this to me omg. I wanted to jump right into this video and pull them all out of there like dangit dude. There have been a lot of interpretations on how the whole "them being experimented on" story goes....this is by far the most heartbreaking version imo. Not to say the actual game version isn't super horrible on its own. They're not in bigger body forms or whatever, it's almost like they're not even children possessing them or whatever's going on in game like children being put into them. This feels like they were given life, not from a child, not from something they just made them alive the characters somehow. And now they're just lab rats for whatever next phase of the project Playtime Co is working on.
Like they created and gave life to these cute little lads who were all probably so innocent at first, just to make them endure horrible experiments. They weren't loved, nobody there cared about them, they were all just means to an end. I can imagine them being so happy at first, when they were first born. Probably super happy to meet the team conducting this stuff, they didn't know any better. Heck they were probably treated well for the first bit of their lives. Not out of love, out of a necessity to keep them well for further experiments. And don't even get me started on Crafty...I just...I can't stand hearing her that sad and in pain...I don't even think I can listen to that part again, don't take that as a bad thing that just shows how amazingly this was voice acted. Closing her eyes and only seeing bad things....props to DogDay for continuing to be that shimmer of light...or at least trying to. I love how him and Bobby are the supportive ones, you can tell Bobby would act just like him but at this point in time she's having doubts. It's been what, probably months? Years? And nothing's gotten better, nothing changed. Her and DogDay probably kept telling them the same crap over and over, day in and day out, you can only hold on to optimism like that for so long. They just don't want to hear it anymore, that much was conveyed from Bubba.
The way he responded...man that just felt like "DogDay, please just shut up" like I was surprised he didnt say that in a really serious tone. They know Hoppy's right, it's been the same thing again and again. What did DogDay expect them to do, endure torture and focus on the very few good times they have for the rest of this miserable life? Ofc not...but he didn't know what to do anymore than everyone else. He'd never say that, he knows everyone looks up to him. He was just doing what he does best...being a super supportive friend no matter what. If he doesn't know what to do the least he can do is make sure everyone sticks together and perseveres. Looking on the bright side can only keep ya going for so long in something like this though...I'm positive he knew that and knew it was only a matter of time before they started to lose hope. Dude the way DogDay told Hoppy to stop talking like that....cause the way she was talking was sounding like she was thinking about y'know...ending it all. That is the very most last thing DogDay would ever even think about for any of them, it would never even cross his mind. I'm sure the mere implication made him freeze up...was this really the state they were at? No, it could never be. In his eyes it was just as if not more horrible than what was already happening but I'm sure Hoppy was starting to consider it as "sweet relief."
Then enter CatNap....with a smooth voice like that imma be honest I'd trust him lol. Ngl before people gave him a normal voice I thought his normal voice was a more goofy one, kinda like Huggy's a bit lol. But nah him having a bit of a deeper one like this is miles more fitting. In all seriousness though, you notice how DogDay answers surprised and nervous when he appears? That just gave me the vibe like...he was the first and only one CatNap told the "plan" to. They're best friends, ofc he did. Y'know I think CatNap was even excited to tell him, thinking he'd be overjoyed and on board right away....only to be met with a look of horror, maybe a light chuckle followed by double D asking if CatNap was joking around. But no...he's serious. This was their way out, finally freedom from all of this where they could truly be happy again....and DogDay says no to it? CatNap probably had a big smile, not a creepy one but one of genuine excitement...and it slowly faded into a look of confusion when DogDay tells him no. Now he was the one who thought DogDay was joking....but then DogDay just gives him the most serious look. This "Hour of Joy"....all it is is just the same suffering they've been enduring but put onto others...ofc DogDay would never be on board with that. And this was orchestrated by a needle fingered abomination? To CatNap, a way out was a way out. Didn't matter who it came from or what it was, he'd do anything to escape this place. They all would...or so he thought before DogDay's response.
I'm sure they ended up yelling at each other, CatNap asking why tf he'd turn this down to just continue suffering with DogDay trying to reason with him. To have him actually hear what he was suggesting they do...it's crazy. "Not any crazier than staying down here enduring torture night and day, waiting for another opportunity that will NEVER come" bet he said something like that in response. Man thinking that argument is just super interesting, CatNap probably got teared up by the end of it...feeling betrayed by the person he was the closest with. Then after it all they didn't see each other until CatNap popped up here to tell everyone else about the "plan." Broooo the red eyes in the back hah, we all know who that is. Old proto boi himself. I like to think wherever CatNap was staying had a small vent that connected his prison to the Prototype's who only found out about from listening to the other workers. That's how they met...they would speak to each other each day, relating and building up trust with CatNap.
It's interesting, the Prototype is no different than the people behind the torturous experiments. Arguably he's even worse, like he doesn't care about ANYONE. Human or toy, it doesn't matter...all of them are just means to an end. That's all CatNap was...he wasn't some prophet spreading the good news, he was the Prototype's puppet. A puppet to be discarded when his role was fulfilled. The Prototype just sits, waits...learns everything he can and what can be of use to whatever goal he has. How easy it was to manipulate tortured souls with false promises....pushing them to a worse fate. 3:03 you can hear DogDay screaming here.....once again just wow the detail. This is my personal theory even for the actual game canon, but I like to think CatNap didn't cut his bottom half off. They were genuinely best friends for a long time....even if CatNap was angry with his decision...he couldn't bring himself to do that. So instead, he brought him to the Prototype who then had zero problem doing the job. He had CatNap hang him up to set an example, those who wanted to cling to this torture could have it ten fold. I can just imagine CatNap afterwards walking by sometimes and just going....."it didn't have to be this way...I never wanted it to be..." with tears rolling down his face. "We were all supposed to get out...to be happy together...but you had to go against it.." with DogDay never giving a response as he walks off.
That is soooo frickin heartbreaking, heck all of this is. See look what you're doing, you're making me like right a fanfiction here pffft. With all that said though, your singing is just beyind amazing. It always has been, but this is just graaah it shows that all the more. And what a fitting song to the game canon like wow and this is from Little Mermaid. The references to the Critter's cardboard cutout lines and throwing in some lyrics from "Sleep Well" was just a treat after treat. You really knocked it to the moon with this one, no pun intended lol. I don't even know what else to say....have I mentioned you're one of the most talented people I've ever met? Haha this also just makes me appreciate your canon series of these guys like a ton more than I already did. They're all living normal happy lives, CatNap isn't crazy or have red smoke, they ain't stuck in this place, THANK GOODNESS. Obviously they do go through hard times but that's just life and it's nothing close to what they had to go through in this lol. Just never stop making bangers my dude, wish ya the absolute best and hope you're taking good care of yourself. 👍 💎

👏 ENCORE BRO FR!! It's insane how well this song fits and the other references to game lines and that cg5 song at the end were like the icing on the cake. You absolutely positively KILLED it man in the best way possible. That whole first bit dude...that really did get me good I'm not even gonna lie. Man I'm happy they have good normal lives in your series, nobody should ever have to endure what they did in the game canon. My boi Kickin..I know how you feel I hate needles too. If I could I would've hugged tf out of him just then, would've done that for all of em. I'm so conflicted on Catto lad, yes he's evil prototype worshiper here but damnit his voice is perfect haha.
