This is a second model straight from the Terrafugia company. Aeronautical manufacturers have expressed their expertise in the field even more with a car that looks like a helicopter! What makes us say that? It's simple: the Terrafugia TF-X takes off vertically thanks to real rotors. This means that there is no need for a long run before taking off, unlike the prototype convertible airplanes. When driving, this car uses its hybrid powertrain for its wheels. The rotors are electric. Thus, the maximum speed in full flight is 322 kilometers per hour, and its range is 805 kilometers. If we do a quick calculation, we understand that this flying car can transport you from London to Geneva in just three and a few hours! And unlike the previous car, this one has four seats. For the moment, the Terrafugia TF-X is not yet on sale, and we do not know its launch date. The only thing we know is that its price is estimated at $300,000!

This thing has been scrapped. The company laid-off employees and pivoted to now making unmanned flying craft.
