    Great video! Way better than the other vids on this issue. Doing my JKU driveshafts this week. Glad I watched this.

    I noticed he never mentioned the crush sleeve in the front and rear diffs when he tightens the yokes

    just finished putting on a 3 1/2 lift, test drive I noticed a vibration, I had been told a front drive shaft was a must, but am doing reserch before spending the money

      Yes! I would highly recommend a front driveshaft at a minimum. Because the transfer case is close to the front, the shorter front driveshaft is at an even more severe angle.

    The transfer case nut on mine was 1 1/2" in the rear.

    I have the same driveshafts on my jeep, jus an fyi for u the grease zert on the front of the front shaft is useless, it pushes the grease out instead of getting it on the splines. u mite wanna pull the slip shaft off and grease the splines that way. id also do the same to the rear shaft too.

    So 8+ months later are you still pleased with these driveshafts. I’m looking at buying them for my 14jku.

      Still very much pleased with them! They're holding up well

    I get confused with the long arm part. Can this be used with a 4 inch suspension lift. No long arms or short arms? Just stock relocation.

    What size rc lift and what control arms are you using?

    • @JDCarsChannel

      This is the RC 4" long arm lift kit-- completely bolt on. We made a full install video (two parts).

      You can order online. Enter your model and year to verify compatibility. 2014 Wrangler Sport. I recommend it highly.

    So are they 1310 or 1350 double cardan joints? I am considering trying these instead of tom woods shafts. Nice jeep

    • @MichaelCook1981
      @MichaelCook1981 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      1310. I don't think RC has a 1350 option. Tom Woods makes a 1350 for a couple hundred more per driveshaft.

    Rough Country gave me horrible customer service after their shocks broke off the mount within a couple months. I've never dealt with a customer service rep more rude than the one I spoke to at Rough Country. Also, their sway bar disconnect pieces weren't threaded right. I just returned them to the vendor and got a pair of terra-flex.

      If the shocks broke off the shock mount, that's your fault, not Rough Country's. The only way shocks break off mounts is if they are the wrong length. I've had nothing but great customer service from Rough Country, but I can see why they may have been rude to you. You didn't order the right length shock, or measure your travel, and then tried to blame them for your f up.

      @@bdd1469 They were measured correctly and the shocks I replaced them with have been great for years. Every single product I have purchased from Rough Country has been defective in some way. I know others have had success with their products, but I am not one of them.
