do they run the older cars more or the new 7000 series? so if I were to go down there and just take lets say the redline what would be the percentage of me getting the new trains? cause I remember Metro having problems with the new cars. Thanks!
@@Theofficalmetrochannel I believe it is 8 cars max. So far, I have not encountered no crime or smell. I was surprised how clean and spotless the trains were. Even their windows are clean.
The 7000 is mainly on the Red, Orange and a lil bit on the Green and Silver Line. Right now as the 7k is still coming back in service, trains are running about every 10 minutes (sometimes earlier) and you can still see older cars running. It's a pretty nice system actually, but if your visiting, I think you might want to stay away from the Green Line.
This message is to TT dog. What stations are best to avoid or just not get off? Does the Green line go through bad areas? If so is Gallery Place metro stop safe to get off at? Thanks!
I believe so. I think WMATA Card is located in Apple Wallet. Here is how to activate the SmarTrip Card on your iPhone (located in Apple Wallet): www.wmata.com/fares/MobilePay/ApplePay.cfm

Yes. They’re running some of the old cars on the Red Line. I don’t know the exact percentage but I would say it is 50% could be new or old.
@@HOUExplorer how many cars do they have total linked together? Have you seen crime? Does it smell?
