@@Flowersbyterra how interesting. I have found the opposite to be more beneficial, meaning the flowers do much better by having water with flower food while you are designing make for a longer lasting arrangement.
Thank you dear 🌸 The foliage I used is mainly pittosporum and fillers such as phlox, helenium, green bell, spray carnations etc. Do turn on captions at 1:15 where I go through the flowers and foliage individually in this arrangement ☺️ Hope it helps!
