  • Andy Clark presents 'Characterising basement geology between outcrop of the Warramunga and Murphy provinces and implications for the evolution of the North Australia Craton' at the GSA NT Division April 2023 Meeting.
Bio: Andy completed his BSc (Honours) with a double major in geology at Australian National University in 2013. Following a six month stint working for the International Water Management Institute in Lao PDR, he then moved to Vancouver, Canada, to undertake a two year, research-based MSc on characterising part of the poly-deformed Yukon-Tanana Terrane in Yukon, using a combination of field mapping, in-situ monazite geochronology, and metamorphic petrology. Andy has since worked at Geoscience Australia on the Exploring for the Future Program, working with many different people to characterise the basement geology and mineral potential of the North Australian Craton between the Warramunga and Murphy provinces.
