The Au falcon copped a lot of crap because they didn't win at Bathurst but they did win at Queensland 500 and at Sandown. The car in my opinion either you love it or hate it. Me personally I love it.
I remember on the old TOCA games, whenever I raced in the V8 Supercars I favoured the Shell Falcon. I liked that paint scheme. And the Green Eyed Monster too.
Really are you talking about the same au falcon that was voted by a panel of motoring journalists as the ugliest Australian car ever. That tacked on hideous nose cone nearly sent ford broke and even WITH the body kit not even ford fans bothered with those dog boxes. The vx outsold it by a country mile AND was a more successful race car.
@@captainkaos754 the car looks beautiful the vx crapadore came third ford lived up to its name on that day yes it was first on race day. Oh and by the way the Au falcon was actually a good car and ford did sell plenty of them.
I wonder if that bloke still has that VX Commodore. Also: a factory Holden team getting a reputation for getting away with things that other teams somehow don't. Gee, where have I heard *_THAT_* before?

Agreed. Lowdnes AU looked the goods.
So did the Shell Falcons for that matter.

They need to bring the fun back into Supercars, it's too serious these days.
Grasping at straws or what ??
