      Tuomas That alternate incline fly at 1:21 is awesome. I’m missing the cable crossovers at my gym and free weight flys shred my shoulder joints; but this exercise fried my upper pecs.

      I’m almost there too. I started doing waited push-ups recently. Just seems to make my shoulders sore. The weight is going up but I’m not really seen my chest takeoff. So I got to try this. I’m sure it’s going to work. I never really do any of these movements for anything.

      I mean if you can do 20 easy push ups you guys should have just moved on to a different progression by now. One leg with a twist? Archer push ups? Tuck, Planche =P I know those are not skills to take lightly but if you're bored it's because you're making it boring. It's your time, you can spend it moving however you like.

    This was great! Please do more vids like this! I am older person (50-ish) out of shape, and just starting my journey to weight loss and fitness. I do not have a ton of money to join gym, I have been looking for some inexpensive/ simple weightlifting things to do at home, this does it! Keep up the great work. You explain what you are doing, how it should 'feel' and then show the form.. Perfect! Further 'at home' versions that I would love to see some for back/buttocks/legs/shoulders/recovery/balance!

    *So easy to use and so convenient! Awesome in space saving. However, due to its adjustable weight design, the length of the dumbell is always the same regardless of weight. (I.e. a regular 25 lbs dumbell is longer than a 10 lbs dumbell). But that really not a reason to shy away. Also kinda expensive.... but!!! Overall quality **bestgym.equipment** and ease of use and storage, you cant ask for a better dumbell.*

    massive thumbs up for that first move, this one unlocked the link between moving and my chest that wasn't present before, I wasn't fully deltoid dominant but not far off. Small tip, massive difference. Thank you.

  • @Mandolin_Matt
    @Mandolin_Matt 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    First two are great. The last one though...remember the function of the chest is to bring the upper arm across the body. Look what the upper arm is doing there - it is more like a high-to-low cable fly, but stopping quarter of the way into the rep. Instead, get into a push-up position and drop your chest slightly towards the ground by retracting the scapula. Then really concentrate on slowly moving the upper arm towards, and away from, your chest as you go up and down.

    I think I have a new favorite trainer. Love the super short into and total lack of hipster garbage. Even more love the deadpan humor. DB Flye opinion--arms fixed or straighten any center? Also at bottom, when you stretch. Arms stay parallel to floor and bend as you do the movement, or widen as much as possible staying fixed with slight arc? Stretch feels different.

    If you get bored in lockdown, how about a training live stream? I think that if you organised it well then it could be a great opportunity for people to learn and even ask questions in the live chat which would make it easier to understand or get some tips. Also, there's more to learn about training than just exercises, right? You could also use the live stream to explain why you chose the exercises and why they're in that order.
    Great video!
