- This time I make a turn at Garage 10 in Brackenfell to take a look at the 1995 EG Honda Ballade belonging to Aldrin. I get his take on doing a K20 swop 8 years ago and the progression of the car to it's current K24 setup. He also shares the previous setups that graced the engine bay. This car has been around for longer than I can remember and has quite a few FN2 Type R parts. Come along for the experience.

I have an EG8 Ferio slapped with a H22A Euro R motor .. Pulls like a poor man’s K20A JDM Type “R” but my nose is as heavy ass hell .. 😩🥺 I envy you for such a clean swap .. looks lit 🔥 Keep us posted ✌🏻

I have to agree with what you said, it's the FN2 interior that's super nice about this car
Even the gearshift placement, is high like it is on the FN2, I'm sure a FN2 owner won't feel out of place at all in this car.

I’m huge fan of this. Even though it’s a different motor I like seeing the EG’s getting some love out there. Something different compared to the more common CRX’s & Civic EK’s. 🤟🏻
EG's deserve love too, they're often overlooked. I wonder how different the scene would be if we got the EG ferio SiR locally. EG overseas came out with some nice kit on it as standard.

I think getting a more or less complete donor car is the easier way to do a swap.🤔
It solves a lot of headaches yes, especially with the wiring and takes some of the guesswork out of the equation. Plus as a frame of reference as well to how things could be routed.

It's all explained in the video, but it was previously B18 turbo and then k20 and now currently K24 N/A. 🤝

@@antonyl1386 I owned an ek for a year last year with a 1.6 sohc ZC so I know how awesome those little motors are. Totally understand that you want more power though.😁💪
