Nene has been getting feed by keeper's for age's. The only one that doesn't take food from her is miss Ai. I've seen her give food to Kiyo & Annie. Ai is a beautiful lady gorilla.😋

I totally agree! They take her food, even take food right out of her mouth. She doesn't have any teeth.She has mobility issues so all the soft tomatoes, etc. are eaten by the time she makes it out to eat.😢😢

7:53 Every Gorilla gets the amount of food they need mostly depending on their body weight. Zoo keeper’s watch carefully and keep track of how much food each gorilla takes in during every meal, if they don’t get the amount of food they need going by the guidelines they feed them on the side like we see here. So no one’s getting special treatment and no one’s being mistreated or unfavored, it’s all calculated and Necessary.

It's not just because of Nene's teeth, but also because she can't get to the food as easily and the other gorillas are taking food out of her mouth and hands for themselves when they can easily access food. Does the zoo have enough money to feed all of them this type of food all day everyday? Can they put Nene in a room by herself so the others cannot see when she gets this food? What is the solution?

But I don't think it's fair for the others to have to sit there and watch her eat food that they aren't getting. Just like with genki. I'm sure they will figure something out if it becomes a problem.
