Another lesson to be learnt: everything is relative. Release/upload date of these clips means they've had a longer time to be viewed than more recent clips. A more accurate and fitting selection algorithm would be view count / days since upload date. Along with other variables.
The reason that these videos are watched so mich is because this is exclusive content fans cant see on tv: even though it isnt really good its exclusive content noones ever seen.
These are some of the oldest first-uploaded fights to the channel: basement tapes/qualifying rounds from the ABC network (s1/s2 of the reboot) days. For a long time, the only official battlebots content you could find on youtube where these so doesn't surprise me they have the highest view counts.
@@clutch44444 I know for sure, the Minotaur vs. Blacksmith fight is on the ABC youtube channel. I guess this is all the most watched on the Battlebots channel.
I don't think they have a social media team or even a social media employee, Battlebots is not a large company. Maybe during the actual season they hire an intern to upload the videos but I'm 99% sure it's just Trey Roski or Greg Munson uploading these videos lol.
DeathRoll and Tantrum are 2 of the most improved bots. Look at 2016 DeathRoll and now look at 2019 DeathRoll beating Rotator, Yeti, and Minotaur. Then there's Tantrum, a burger flipper from 2018 now it's a giant nut winner
HELLRAISERS, left over from the comedy central era of battlebots. I think they stopped using them since they just made bots get stuck and verts had a tendency of eating the edges. They are still in the floor of the current battlebox. There's still another version of them left, little (well, like a couple of inches thick) ball bearings that lift randomly from the floor. Especially undercutters you will see randomly throw sparks, most likely they hit one of them.
Been following BB for quite some time now and i respect these guys putting on knowledge, time and effort to make spectacular bots, BUT, in my non expert opinion i think YOU DON'T NEED WEAPONS! Make an unflippable bot, very powerful that operates the same upside down. Solid, with hidden wheels so they can not harm you. And push them around everywhere in the arena. Eventually their weapons will have no use and you're gonna win every opponent.
There'sa life lesson to be learnt here. Just becasue a thing is poplular does not imply that it is good.

It's funny as you say that but I like to watch this show
@pero6178 I do too, but my comment was specifically for this "most watched" video.
Yeah like your mother

I can guarantee that these aren't the most watched, these fights were okay at best

@@bami2 Oh ok, I definitely thought that minotaur and tombstone would've been in this video at least once

Ahí te das cuenta lo importante que son los comentaristas
Man who is in control of your social media team....

Why
@@bami2 why does he say it?
@@bami2 who say they have verified instagram account
Just having the box audio and no commentary makes this so much more intense and enjoyable!

There are two before me, and they're both claiming first! So, only god knows!😂
The raw sounds are awesome.
So much better than being subjected to the annoying commentators.
6:20 Original sound of exoskeleton and sight for saw eyes saw sound from ro-bots combat arena
in the first fight i love how ghost raptor is running into the wall while stinger already lost 2 tyres
Not because these are the best fights but cause these were the fights that were longest on the channel.
Hopefully Fights from Season 7 will be on this list one day
Here's hoping!
Ghost Raptor: the kid who always got beat up in high school.
Overdrive was my childhood bot I hope I'll make a return one day
i never knew floor flippers were used

If these are the most watched videos, You should take a look at Robot Wars instead. Man what a difference.
Awesome Battles
Super

that operates the same upside down.
Solid, with hidden wheels so they can not harm you.

At least fir the last fight something good came out for death roll, they got their 2019 design figured out
This exposes the flawed youtube algo. hiding the best battles and showing mediocre videos to majority.
Also how come all of these fights are not in the tournament?
Stinger and Lockjaw are very good. Ghost Raptor is piece of siht.
Live your life the way that you want to live it, don’t let other people live it for you…
The most watched seriously?
Rinha de robô é foda 🍷🗿
Well that us 8 mins of my life I won't get back. None of them were really exciting
All matches were kinda dull
Have they ever tried putting a camera in/on the bots themselves?
Yes they have
Yes
There's several videos of that. You can look for them here on TH-cam.
So much better without the commentary. You should save some monies & always do it that way. 😉
very far away from the most impressive battles
wow.. gotta admit that those were some of the lamest fights i've ever seen ^^
I think the drone wont get damaged
RIP my ears at some points
Red battle bot is out of place 😂
Most watched doesn't guarantee high quality. I wish better matches (which are plenty) could be posted
So much better without the commentary
some of the contestants seem to be so full of themselfs
Vim pelo SOU EU NA VIDA
These fights are cr@p. Fire whoever put this together
in fairness this is poor
