That last shot... As an IKEA manual once said to me "It is better to be two people in the construction of this furniture"
Nice trick with the off cut there though!
Looking epic! Can't wait for part two. Thank you.

This is so cool, and slightly frustrating. My appartment is small but with a large living room. I've had an idea to make a double sided room divider for years. It would be something like this, just a bit deeper and taller. A media side with room for a flush mount TV and a dining side with drawers for storage on the bottom and and cabinets for glasses etc. above. The top could be a breakfast bar.
Seeing this is a great inspiration, but also a reminder of all the tools, jigs and hardware required. For a DIY'er I have a decent amount of tools and a garage, but nothing like this.

This is such a cool project Cristina. Its amazing to see you come up with the project brief in the first video explaining your specific needs (items being stored, the room not being straight and needing to take it appart), and then coming up with the functional yet stylish design. Such an incredible job

As a woodworker and home theater enthusiast, I love this! Clean design, great use of available space.
But I would make a suggestion for the speakers. Since the vibration of the speakers can feed back into the turntable and cartridge (which will at the least, muddy up the sound a tad, or at worst, create a feedback howl), some form of isolation should be used. The easiest would be to use vibration absorbing feet on the speakers, such as Sorbathane, to reduce the transmission of vibration from the speaker cabinet to the media console and turntable. The turntable could use the same feet, but there might be a problem with fit.
Overall, I am jealous of the materials you have available to you! Here in Hawaii, getting black MDF is by special order only and only by the pallet load!
