I'm taking a break from working on my Porsche 356 to watch you work on your Mercedes 300SL... It doesn't get any better than that for a German car nut!!! Awesome work on the doors.
Loving the build so far. Only suggestion for this video is that you could have simply replaced the strut ball with 10mm thread so no need to be messaging around with thread inserts.

i can only say that it is one beautiful work of art . they just dont make auto art any more . i just cant find better words to say . she is going to be one lovely lady when your finished bringing her back .

If you are I believe the door locks need to have double latch on them, don’t know if yours locks do or not but it doesn’t come across they do on film. Much easier to do it now before it’s painted if they aren’t double latching. This is in no way a criticism of your work, just advice for a possibly problem you might have in the future.
I don’t want to frighten you, but it seems to me the door handles are mounted the wrong way right and left. From the outside the handle should flip out of the door to the back of the car, and from the inside the lever should face to the front of the car. Maybe you still can change the left and right one .😮 Best regards

heavier frame for the doors to get them more stabil ?? more iron, and i start my gullwing with the doors , great job , thanks
