You can configure the static back button (triangle) to bring down the notification shade when long pressing (for example). I use that a lot.

I tried it and love the technology and build quality. It's just simply too big. Can't hold it well, can't reach the opposide site of the screen with my thumb, can't find space for it on the dashboard, it hurts when wearing it in the front pocket of my trousers and walking stairs.
What a bummer? Did anyone test this one in daily life?

Only 2 things are missing for me: Wireless charging and a stereo speaker. Would be awesome to have these two as well. Dont get me wrong, i have the OP6 and I love it, but these two things wouldve made it perfect for me.
I've owned mine for a week now and I love it. It's fast and it works with no hesitation. I'm selling my now defunct Essential Ph-1.
The 5t let's you swipe down on the fingerprint sensor to pull down notifications, and I assume that carried over into the 6, though I can't confirm because I haven't upgraded. I use that all the time (though admittedly I do still have to use my nose to hit some of the high-up buttons)
At 48 seconds in you show the phone standing on a headset stand. What is the stand called? i'd love to get me one of those! Great video by the way, enjoyed it!

So far I have had zero problems with Google apps. Especially Gmail, it's fast and snappy and easy to use

The only negative I have about this phone is the speaker...it really sucks!! Would be cool if they could somehow make the ear speaker part of a new stereo experience. Wonder if they could do this with software. OH! and bring back the always on display!!!!
Marc careful with it my Lenovo speaker blew up after 6 months. Its the only reason I'm getting a new phone, 2 years later

I'm really interested in the OnePlus 6, but does anyone know if there is an official OnePlus webpage that will tell me what the end of life support duration is for this phone? Is the OnePlus going to get 1 or 2 or (like Pixel) 3 years of security updates? I can deal with feature updates only being 1 or 2 years (Pixel is 2), but if the security updates for the OnePlus 6 is only 1 year, then that's a deal breaker for me on this phone. If 2 years of security updates, I'll have to weigh pros and cons. If 3 years of security updates, than I'll almost certainly buy this phone.

Andrew Lee It's been good from my experience. I can hear people well and they have said they hear me good too.
I live in a pretty windy place, but the phone performs good for talking even if it's windy. The phone has two microphone holes, one on bottom, one on top, and I think they are using the second mic for noise cancellation during calls. At least it seems so based on the calls I've made, but don't quote me on that, haha.
The one plus 5t is pointing at the fingerprint scanner when you were discussing about the camera lmao.
I still have the op3 and the battery is still amazing specially with a few tweaks 7 hours of youtube vids 36%
I never had any issues like that with Gmail or any Google apps on my OnePlus 6. Maybe check the don't use notch setting. Using the notch might be causing problemd.

P20 pro has a better camera, but using ogygen OS (almost Android stock) is a complete stunning experience compared to the heavy ugly EMUI from Huawei. BTW, the oneplus 6 camera is simply excellent though. More than enough for daily use, amateur occasional photography and sharing photos in social media. And moreover, oneplus has better hardware than Huawei. I was about to buy the Huawei but after thinking a bit I opted for oneplus and I don't regret it. Despite not having the best camera in the market or ip certification, the fluid OS experience compensates everything.
Looks like the one plus 6 the one to get 02 uk and are doing a good deal on it to at the moment

The Honor 10 is fantastic value, but the OP6 has a better camera (full comparison imminent) and that SD845 is a step up too. Honor is better for battery and pleasingly compact though. Check out my comparison video for a full spec by spec rundown, and cheers for watching!
lucky bastard mine was over heating 3 days after i bought it and i had to send it to them for replacment it has been a week without a phone...

Girlsdingetjes Hi there, the Pixel 2 XL is a good phone but crazy expensive. If you want clean Android and good battery life, the likes of Motorola's devices or the new Nokia 7 Plus might be what you need.

Girlsdingetjes no worries :) If performance is also a big thing then the OP6 will certainly appease. The battery life isn't as strong as the Pixel but you get much stronger value for money.

Idk what you mean by it's the problem with google apps and not by the device itself coz all google apps works perfectly on my pixel 2xl and in my brother s9 which has snapdragon 845 so it's one plus fault in their software not Google fault in any way

I really like this phone and was think about getting one. But I used music and pictures on sd card. My own music and not whatever people are using now a days. I don't really know what I would do with my music, if there is no card to put it on.
Laura PM Hey Laura. You can store your music etc on the OnePlus' built in storage if you have a means of transferring the files to a computer. The 256GB model will hold a massive music and photos collection, hopefully that's big enough for you?
Well i got my OP6 today, and i can say the system isn't perfect, it crashes a lot, yes it's fast but have some small issues that need to be fixed. And yes It have the latest update. Not impressed till now.

The Oneplus 6 is great but that glass back is complete trash. Mathew Moniz dropped it from pocket height and it cracked with one fucking drop. It is an absolutely retarded idea to put a glass back on any phone.

miguel santos lópez Yes. I have one and the speaker isn't very good. My brother has S7 and even it can produce richer sounds than OP6, which is pretty sad considering it's 2 generations old device.
It's definitely better than the op3, that's the only thing I can compare it to. Louder and more mid range. It's not tinny either.
