      +Chase Jarvis Hi, is it possible to have transcribed subtitles for non-native American speakers? I am Italian and actually studying English but speaking in all videos is so fast (and informal, just how it is intended to be). It is a pity to loss a lot of interesting details.....Thnak you

    I'm just in the middle of listening to this (while working) and just wanted to stop the video and comment on the bit (12:50) when Marie's mum gives Marie advice, saying - paraphrasing - "listen to that little voice inside, you'll find it's always right. When you listen to it you will find it gets louder and louder". I love that, I thought I sound crazy when I explain to others that's how I work. Chase resonated with it as well... which kinda tells me that us creative lot are far more spiritual and in touch with an invisible thing (God, whatever you name it) than I thought..... back to work... and thanks Chase Jarvis!

    Thank you for validating all of us in the restaurant industry. I hate the stigma that we have given up or aren't going to be "successful." I know so many great people in this industry who may or may not stay in it and are going to make a real impact in this world. We aren't afraid to work hard and pay our bills and be responsible while we work for our dreams.

    As a avid cook with a reverence for Italian food, it is delightful how Marie Forleo infuses her life coaching with practical and delicious sensibility.
    The 2 resonators from this talk:
    1). Do SOMETHING rather than nothing (or getting drunk on Compareschlager and your woes). Welcome the potholes in your path (each of the ChaseJarvisLIVE have their share.) Learn not to say a sobbing "Oooooo." Stand tall, consider a next small baby step, and scream "Woooo!!" (all the best dance tracks starr with a Wooo! one should know).
    2). There are insightful tidbits presented in these talks, but do NOT follow someone else's path. Herein, Marie and Chase implore us to create OUR PATH. Learn the aspects of business (the HOWS), find your. WHYS in your pattern and spirituality, take action from these, and surrender to your path.
    Success is aligning your agenda (your purpose/passion) into action and seeing it grow. (btw: naysayers and critics to YOUR plan may be useful in some consideration but, remember, they have THEIR agenda). Marie's (and Brene's) tip:
    Cultivate a Posse that supports your agenda.
    Thanks from Western Maine.

    😭😭😭 omg I thought something was wrong with me. As a kid I helped my mom with her daycare. 12 years old I was washing cars. Teenager I babysat. Went to school for business management n accounting. Didn't finish. 😭 Worked in hospitality restaurant n wine industries. Also have experience in sales and marketing. Have been self employed as well. Had a cleaning business. Currently want to start a dog walking business. Oh and learn yoga to teach it. I have a bad back so I have to do it anyway Because of the trauma in my life I've learned how to heal and continue to grow. I want to help others. I thought I've been making the wrong decisions my whole life. So much I want to do. Oh I also have a certificate in construction 😜 my family thinks I'm crazy. Ive been homeless throughout my life too. So yeah. I finally found my purpose to mentor young adults. 🙌🙌🙌 I love zombie movies too! Just recently found out I could possibly have adhd. I'm so glad I came across you! Thank you so much!! God bless you!!! 🙏❤️

    Chase, man... Loving this content. Great inspirational stuff, also good to just listen to on my drive if I can't watch it. One point of critique, if you don't mind. You said the phrase "that's so powerful" about 20 times this episode. It kind of stalled the conversation rather than a followup point or question about the point. Anyways, just interviewing preference I guess. Keep up the awesome work.

    so i have been following the video series for a while now and trying to implement
    some of what the people say and its great, the results are more hard work , my question tho , as u start to realise who you want to be and what you want in the world a lot of stuff becomes irrelevant , at times even the friends one thought had become irrelevant and at the same time its not that one wants to come out as proud or judgmental ,how do you intergrate them into ur new vision ?

    At 59:00 Marie is talking about "getting off the social media" in order to have the bandwidth to do the actual work that "you've been put on this planet to do." I do post video and written blogs (on somatic movement), as well as organize and attend live events that I or people I admire organize on both, fb and insta. However, I am aware that because social media is such an easy and free vehicle to share my work and inform people about "in person" events (workshops and classes,) "I do not pay attention to" how else to advertise/share/speak about my work to the world because I'm putting all my hopes on social media. Brainstorming other options... Can I talk clearly about what I do when I meet people at social gatherings, phone call and physically walk into organizations I am interested working with, print out posters, keep my curious/playful ears alive at workshops, events, appointments? What else is there? ...I guess I am leaning more towards the human factor. I feel that Seth Godin communicates the message about doing the honest, valuable work, engage with real people and worry about the fashionable amount of pamphlets secondarily. Also is it possible at all to do important work these days without screen time at all (my eyes just begin to hurt)?

    • @xchicglowgoxo6447
      @xchicglowgoxo6447 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Merriam-Webster definition of Violent: the use of physical force so as to injure, abuse, damage, or destroy/using or involving physical force intended to hurt, damage, or kill someone or something. Period. Therefore- NO calling cops "pigs", though by some, may be considered "hate speech", is not an actual act of "violence". As for her having "poor judgment", everyone has had a bit of "poor judgment" in their lives. That being said- you are not the arbiter of what is, and what isn't "poor judgment".
