#ArunachalPradesh is a state in Northeast India. It was formed from the east while North East Frontier Agency (NEFA) region. It borders the state of Assam and Nagaland to the South. It shares international borders with Bhutan in the West, Mayanmar in the East and a border with china in the North at the McMahon Line. Itanagar is the state capital of Arunachal Pradesh. A major part of the state is claimed by both the People's Republic of China and the Republic of China as part of the region of South Tibet. During the 1962 Sino-Indian War, most of Arunachal Pradesh was captured and temporarily controlled by the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
India became independent in 1947 and the People's Republic of China (PRC) was established in 1949. The new Chinese govt still considered the McMahon Line invalid.
Kibithu, also spelled Kibithoo is a town in Arunachal Pradesh. It is eastern most permanently populated towns of India, located on the LAC ( Line of Actual Control).
Arunachal Pradesh is a mysterious and relatively unexplored land of the Eastern Himalayas with the beautiful Gori Chen range and Langto Peak towering above the unending carpet of pine treetops. There are quite a lot of amazing places to visit in Arunachal Pradesh, some of that are Bhalukpong, Dirang, Tipi orchid center, Sessa orchid sanctuary, Dirang Dzong etc. On the way of Tawang you can visit Sela pass and Sela lake. The famous Gaden Namgyal Lhatse, popularly known as Tawang Monastery appears like a fort as if guarding the votaries in the wide valley below. Tawang Monastery is the largest in the country and is one of the largest ministries in the Asia.
