Brillant! I owned a 1971 Mk4 myself; was the 1st owner and loved driving it. That is, when the sun was shining and it started up without too much fussing about. This video of yours brought back so many fond memories. Good going, gents!!
The "Twiumph" LOL. How come if Ginger is the crap driver and yet in every episode there he is behind the wheel? That's a roughie that one. But as Ginger says - the pwoof of the pudding is in the dwiving.
They jump out of the car smiling and saying they want it, then offer half the asking price....not good negotiation tactics. Its a rust bucket full of filler worth scrap value at best.
This show is brilliant ,but I don’t like that they say throw away a monthly salary . They get money from the show . And for me that’s oke because I love the show . But don’t say bullshit .
@user-tn5fz4kp8jthese guys make a living out of the tv show, royalties and ad revenue, not actually the cars and lowballing people who cant fix a 30-40 year old car
As someone who has done a lot of work on UK cars -before they were classics- I really enjoy this series.
This series is an absolute joy, aimed at the home mechanic perfectly. New series please.

"Tighter than a submarine door.." thought he was going to say something else for a split second... Haha
Nice basic good repair and a little money in the pocket !

Enjoying the shows, keep it up. Where can I get that sticky vinyl sheet stuff? Rover SD1 V8 next please.
a friend bought a Spitfire in the 1970 's... I had a MINI.... mine ran, his didn' t... but he was proud... strill dont' know why...
what are these strange prices for the vehicles? The purchase prices seem unrealistic.
Bodge it & Leggit
How about a Frogeye next?
I think the registration says it, KRP! Just kidding.
I will lmport to Malaysia.
Not sure what jobs you had before , but 850~2=425 per for 5 days work does not seem like a great deal to me ??
Plus the deal with the producer and the TV station makes a nice sum.
Less overheads of rent and electricity etc. School of No Idea isn't it.
So they netted 425 quid each for a week's work. Less overheads - rent, electricity etc. Brilliant businessmen. They're having a laugh.
The 1500/mk4 was a big disappointment after the great and faster Mk3 which I had.

Who cares about the wheels. When you see all rust on the body.
🤣🤣🤣
You should used fibre glass filler not just bog as it will crack and used rust coverter inside n out
yeah, but you do have a film crew and a successful show,,,so you aint exactly hurtin for moolah.
Wil get always druty work gus not
Love the Spitfires, but guys - using rattle can acrylics on cars you're selling is pretty cringe.
Yeah class act innit.

You don't apply body filler to red oxide primer, there is low adhesion. Always apply filler to apoxy primer.
Can you please fine and restor Spitfire Mk 3 year 1969 above. I will sent you £ + your restoration cost.
Regards Mr lSMAIL KUALA LUMPUR NALAYSIA.
That's a pig of a spitfire. I'd be depressed if that was mine.
The valve clearances should be 10 thou, not 25 thou. At 25 thou, it's going to sound like a bag of nails!
I agree but he’s talking in metric not thousandths of an inch.

😮no cleaning the parts you replace?
Rebuild the metal work by using filler 😂😂😂😂😂 say no more
Typical cowboys....
The crap they was saying about the metro they robbed off that bloke had me decked. They have no clue and are hungrier then vultures haha
It s a shitty old car sold for 1750pounds. What do you expect, aluminium remake? That is metal filler btw used by every paint shop in the world.
Metal hole became rust later
