Awesome interview! Love it. Respects to Eric especially talking about representation, speaking truth. Can you please get Tablo from Epik High onto this show? I'm sure you'll have a blast of a conversation with him I'd love it :)
You do not know how much respect I have for Zach(and Eric Nam), it's obvious that he is invested in the people he interviews and he genuinely listens to them. For me it's hard to find an interviewer that cared that much about who he was interviewing. Zach is one of the best interviewers out there and you can't change my mind.(also Eric Nam is a legend)
I love that Zach does his research and takes his time to actually learn about kpop artists. Like I know it's simple and you'd think everyone would do that. But he was the first interview to ask bts about their campaign to stop violence and the way he did research about Eric is amazing. Reasons why Zach is one of my favorite interviewers
God this interview makes me appreciate him so much more. He’s super well spoken and so much more expressive in english though i love his korean side as well.
Thank you so much for inviting Eric on your show. Hopefully, this interview can showcase the depths and complexities of this man; he's not just an amazing musician, but an awesome human being :)
I mean, he said he drops the things he isn't good at. It just so happened he was in his forte/element with interviewing. Come on now, focus on what you can do to get better at what you're naturally attracted to instead of being salty.
Eric when Zach mentioned about him on the show with Solar and told him Mamamoo was there and Zach was even on her vlog and Eric said he's going to look it up, has made my day!
Eric Nam is so talented and awesome! I love being able to see ppl like Eric, Amber, and Tiffany's less filtered sides. Especially Tiffany and Amber cuz they were in idol groups
I think he’s one of the best at speaking out of all the artists from the Korean music industry. The way he presents himself and explains things so clear it’s quite impressive. You can tell how genuine he is.
Never fails to give the best interviews with Korean artists! Would loveeee to see you talk to some artists from the Korean R&B/Hip Hop scene too, totally different worlds! Thanks for the best content!!
1:07:07 and you are shaping up to be, Zach. You literally put in so much research and humanity to your questions. You don’t prejudge your guests and are open to them and willing to give them the quality time of Day, even when others are only willing to speak superficially. So you will go down in history as one of the greatest in what you do :)
Would love to see Amber Liu on the show! She's definitely got a lot of insights and things to share, about music, kpop, sexuality, mental health, and so on.
I’m back here after a month of binging all the Eric related content I could find... and I just gotta day I need more of this type of interviews apart from how much I love Eric’s voice I love how genuine this is, is more a conversation than an interview and I can’t get enough of it
I think this interview clearly shows who he is: an amazing and intelligent person who deserved became famous with a lot of commitment and dedication. He is so humble that is impossible not to love him, because you can relate a lot. I love him and i am just sorry for myself for discovering him not so long ago. I hope he can come again to Italy so i can see him in person, but on the other hand I hope he can take the well deserved rest that he need. I wish him all the best for his new enter in the market of the states
I'm from Atlanta Georgia and we all know who Eric Nam is and we do not group him in as specifically a Kpop idol.. because he's right when people in this area think of Kpop they think of 15 people with purple hair dancing on a stage and he doesn't fit that genre..and no one in the part of Atlanta I'm from is of from an Asian or Korean background they're all different ethnic groups white hispanic black and we still all know who he is and love him.. he's his own musical Talent whether you're looking at it from an American perspective or Korean perspective...on a side note.... he if he ever wanted to start selling like t-shirts with the logo your dog speaks Chinese on it they would sell out in maybe a few minutes in this area it would be an awesome idea
I was in the middle of watching drama series “Encounter” and kept hearing this AWESOME voice singing “The Night”. Who is that? I literally stopped the drama and searched for the music...and who did I find as the vocalist? Eric Nam. What a beautiful, soulful captivating voice. Awesome! Mate Eric just speaks so freaking well. I know he’s American and all but living in Korea for 7-8 years and still being able to preserve that vocabulary..man props!!
Zach is such a genuine interviewer. The way he asks questions in such a comfortable way, then listens to the answer so thoroughly and critically, it's just so endearing and professional, because as i have seen many interviews in states are not quite comfortable for asian artists, like the questions and stuff, but this man is so talented and honestly respectful that i just enjoy watching every episode even if i don't know the guest. Thumbs up to you man! Keep up the cool work!
21:59 i really liked what eric said right here, i think it really shows how different our cultures are and how we value different things. it's cool how he got to experience everything and has a unique way of balancing both sides of himself, and i think that somewhat ties into how a lot of asian families push you to be more well rounded and the difference from other people. of course it's not a bad thing to just stick to something, but i think that's one more reason why most asians don't give up when you say you don't want to do something, because even though you may not like it, it's good for you and it makes you a more talented person and it really grabs the roots of korean culture and shows how unique it is. idk i just think eric is really well spoken and i love him

And also Zach you're doing great job because your questions are not like others interviewers, you really talking and listening to them and it looks more like a friends talking because they didn't seen each other for years haha
This is honestly the first time I watched/listened a more-than-an-hour interview. Without skipping. Without a pause. Eric Nam. He's THE dude. Love his voice. Love his accent. Love him.
Imagine Zach has jay park for an interview
i want the whole aomg crew
as in jae park from day6? sorry i always hear this guy's name and i'm confused if they r the same person!
@@user-yk5tc5mz8c nah not the same person :)
@Channy Whocares oh thanks for the clarification and yh i've watch day6 here so i was confused lmao. i will check jay park out as well then cos i've heard great things
It would be a whole mess
47:50 the way he says "then i'm sexy i guess" WOW i never thought i could be more attracted to him than i already am but here i am alkdsjadkj this man is so educated and humble and wow
This has been the best 1hr and 16 minutes of my day...I love hearing him talk about his aspirations and his life and his values...it’s really so nice and interesting to listen to what he says...it’s really eye opening and perspective for me because u don’t get to hear artists talk for an hour straight about personal things...so thank you Zach for asking really good questions and being a great host
That is so true I wish it was more like this
This is the first time I've seen Dan so involved omg. As expected of Eric Nam. Loved the interview, Zach!! Also thanks for mentioning the "your dog speaks chinese" meme hahahahah
Awesome interview! Love it. Respects to Eric especially talking about representation, speaking truth.
Can you please get Tablo from Epik High onto this show? I'm sure you'll have a blast of a conversation with him I'd love it :)
MidnightEkaki oh my gosh tablo plz
I love how honest this interview was/felt.
Yes in Australia when I get home my dog greets me with “gday mate”
i want to see tablo on this show
Hell yeh
You do not know how much respect I have for Zach(and Eric Nam), it's obvious that he is invested in the people he interviews and he genuinely listens to them. For me it's hard to find an interviewer that cared that much about who he was interviewing. Zach is one of the best interviewers out there and you can't change my mind.(also Eric Nam is a legend)
is he the guy that did that show with solar from mamamoo?
The "we got married" show? yeah it's him
Yeah. I started getting into Mamamoo cuz of him after watching that show and now they're my fav girl group
*He will be wet.*
@@meralys21 same here 😎
We got married eps 316 until eps 348
I love that Zach does his research and takes his time to actually learn about kpop artists. Like I know it's simple and you'd think everyone would do that. But he was the first interview to ask bts about their campaign to stop violence and the way he did research about Eric is amazing. Reasons why Zach is one of my favorite interviewers
God this interview makes me appreciate him so much more. He’s super well spoken and so much more expressive in english though i love his korean side as well.
There’s a lot of artists I’d like to see Zach interview. But Tablo, the whole AOMG lol, or just Jay Park are on the top of that list.
omg yes tabloo
i can't believe i've watched the whole thing without getting bored eric is just sooo well spoken
I can listen to Eric talk anytime.
Btw can we bring Amber Liu into this show???
Also and AleXa should be on here as well
Liu*
"ERIC NAM, YOU BEAUTIFUL HUMAN !
i’m def attracted to this man. his mind!!! he’s attractive to me physically but his mind makes him more attractive to me
Thank you so much for inviting Eric on your show. Hopefully, this interview can showcase the depths and complexities of this man; he's not just an amazing musician, but an awesome human being :)
eric: it just so happened that i was TOO GOOD at all these other things that it overshadowed these things
me, feeling bitter: wow that's terrible
I mean, he said he drops the things he isn't good at. It just so happened he was in his forte/element with interviewing. Come on now, focus on what you can do to get better at what you're naturally attracted to instead of being salty.
People are being called out for honesty now...WOW.
Omfg i have been waiting for zack to interview eric nam🥵🥵 came as soon as I got the notification
That would be really cool to see him do it with Jay park and possibly some rock and punk in there as well
He's really smart, funny and handsome.
1:07:07 and you are shaping up to be, Zach. You literally put in so much research and humanity to your questions. You don’t prejudge your guests and are open to them and willing to give them the quality time of
Day, even when others are only willing to speak superficially. So you will go down in history as one of the greatest in what you do :)
Denise Cee right when i read this comment, i immediately checked the time and guess what? it was exactly that part of interview haha
Would love to see Amber Liu on the show! She's definitely got a lot of insights and things to share, about music, kpop, sexuality, mental health, and so on.
I love listen to Eric Nam he is so cool
47:16 my mind just went to that clip of that one bts interview where someone (I don't remember who) said to RM "I love your sexy brain"
Same 😂 and I think it was Jin
I was in the middle of watching drama series “Encounter” and kept hearing this AWESOME voice singing “The Night”. Who is that? I literally stopped the drama and searched for the music...and who did I find as the vocalist? Eric Nam. What a beautiful, soulful captivating voice. Awesome! You have a brand new fan here from New Jersey. I will be following you for more music. Nice job with the interviewing and hosting too. The whole package. Keep doing you Eric.
Zack KNOWS how to interview. I wish every kpop idol gets to have an interview with him💜 also this guy is so freaking cool! He has lot of insight. I didn't know who Eric was but I definitely want to check him out now!
I love listening to Eric!!
.He's speaking F A C T S and I love that at least one of the idols are able and willing to bring this up, when there's no munch talk about the L A C K of representation of Asian in America.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🌵
I love how Eric is 1000% honest with what he is saying and he means it.
Zack is such a good interviewer husband kpop daebak show should collab and do some type of mega interview
Lol wtf did I type😅 him* not husband 🤦🏽♀️
@Channy Whocares him*😭😭😭
@Channy Whocares that's the thing tho I am but I make a lot of typos when I'm excited and typing really fast 😔😭 and my friends tease me about it all the time when we text 😤😅
Zach mention that he’s in Solar YT and just look at Eric reaction 26:35 he just look so bright and shine
Thank You Zach Sang for this! Please have Henry Lau next 😁
Woow amazing suggestion!!
I'm sure he would love to talk about his recent releases, he was a guest on Entertainment Weekly in Korea and they didn't let him talk about his new song I Luv U :(
yes I watched the full interview
Damn! This interview, and talk with him is so good. His very intellectual and well rounded.
Zach has blessed us with great interviews with kpop artists, I need henry or jessi, too, now.
This is one of the best interviews I 've ever seen. It's a real conversation I love it
Mate Eric just speaks so freaking well. I know he’s American and all but living in Korea for 7-8 years and still being able to preserve that vocabulary..man props!!
Eric is so real, i listen to his podcast a lot so just listening to him talk is entertaining
Eric!!💙 Zach is my fave interviewer especially for Kpop. He really listens and actually intrested in the Artists craft and stories. He is genuine
I could listen to Eric Nam speak all day. He’s such an inspiring artist 😍. He’s so well spoken and educated.
The way I'm watching this to procrastinate my homework and the first ad Zach talks about is literally from my University.........
Zach is one of the genuine interviewers I've ever seen.. he does his research and genuinely tries to connect with the person
26:33 part about solar haha 😊
thank uuu
Thankyouu
Thanks
21:59 i really liked what eric said right here, i think it really shows how different our cultures are and how we value different things. it's cool how he got to experience everything and has a unique way of balancing both sides of himself, and i think that somewhat ties into how a lot of asian families push you to be more well rounded and the difference from other people. of course it's not a bad thing to just stick to something, but i think that's one more reason why most asians don't give up when you say you don't want to do something, because even though you may not like it, it's good for you and it makes you a more talented person and it really grabs the roots of korean culture and shows how unique it is. idk i just think eric is really well spoken and i love him
I’m rewatching this for like the 3rd time and omg I’m fangirling so hard bout how Dan is complementing Eric so much! 😊
Man I hear what Eric is saying, I can understand what he's saying, but? the ordeal he endured while in Korea, straight up that would have been hard. Gotta give credit for having the strength to continue. Is where he is, due to it.
Heaps of respect to him 🙏👍❤️
