00:00 - Intro
00:21 - The burning test
02:37 - The glass of water test
03:45 - The rotating plates test
Drop a teaspoon of honey into a glass of water. Fake honey will immediately start to dissolve, whilst raw honey will drop to the bottom of the glass intact. Place a drop of room temperature or cooler honey on your finger, If the 'honey' spreads then it is fake honey.
How do you know if honey is real?
Vinegar and water - Mix 1 teaspoon of honey with 2 spoons of vinegar and little water. If it foams up, the honey is not pure. Heat test - If honey is heated, it quickly caramelizes and that indicates pure honey. Impure or adulterated honey bubbles up on heating.
What is the difference between real and fake honey?
Real honey is not sticky if it is rubbed between your fingers, however fake honey is sticky due to the sweeteners added in its creation. This difference is easy to test and very noticeable. Real honey is quite thick in texture, taking time to move, whereas fake honey is very runny and quickly spills, moves and travels.
How do you know if honey is 100% pure?
Simply fill a glass of water and add a teaspoon of honey into the glass. Adulterated or impure honey will easily dissolve in water and you will see it around the glass. On the other hand, original honey will settle right at the bottom of the glass.
Is real honey thick or runny?

Pure honey is dense and trickles only into a stream. It has a soft texture, will never separate into layers and offers a distinct sweet aroma
Is real honey dark or light?
Honey color ranges from nearly colorless to dark brown, and its flavor varies from delectably mild to distinctively bold, depending on where the honey bees buzzed. As a general rule, light-colored honey is milder in taste and dark-colored honey is stronger.

no discernable difference. congrats you got either pure honey in both jars, or none.
Can't see much of a difference between the real and fake tests?
Same unfortunately, the difference in colors doesn't help.
This video is pure BS, should be reported it for being fake news.
The burning test is not a proof of authenticity. Remove the toothpick, settle in on a hard, non-flammable surface like a stone or metal chopping board, I guarantee you'll see the same boiling (not burning) action for both.
Other videos also show air bubble test, viscosity test, and these are all useless. Different species of bees, different harvesting and storage conditions will all affect how thick honey is. Watery honey can become thick when it loses moisture, thick honey can become watery if improperly stored before use.
Try to read the video's captions.
Thanks. Good demo. I remember from living in Poland in 60' a pencil test. All you need to do is spread the honey drops on the skin using a soft "B" or copy pencil - if the honey becomes colored, we can be 100% sure that it is not real. Basically we are talking about added sugar into honey.
*Thanks for helping out.*
Keep up the good work!
Thanks for your hard work first time I understand the difference between real and fake honey.
Thanks
Great video was just wondering this! Wonder if the one on the right is the sprouts brand lol wouldnt doubt it being impure
Thanks for letting me know
I am glad I was aable to mute the distracting music. Is there any scientific basis for these tests? Did you test different varieties of pure honey? Did you analyse the fake honey to find out what was really in it?
Two bottles upside down suddenly and check each bottoms. The bottom of pure honey is no difference but the bottom of fake one has some substance of sugar you can see !!
Thank you sir for experiment done.
You used the lighter color one for the fake honey. It is difficult to detect any significant differences because of it
It's depends on how the honey mix with additive and what additive is used
Thank you
i see no difference with the water test.
one has a lighter color that's the difference.
Keep both in freezer. Sugar crystals would form in the impure honey. Period!
What if the fake has no added sugar but there's added water (and other materials besides sugar) ?
pure honey crystalize also because of glucose
Great video
amazing
Where did you buy real honey ?
You are the bees knees. Winnie the Pooh would be happy with you. If only there was a test for lab grown or petri dish chicken.
hmmmm I tried it with honey from my beehive. It would not burrn at all. It only melted. Whats that mean?
Your bees making honey with water 😂
Pure honey
How can you tell 'raw' honey from honeys that are sold as 'raw honey'?
Thanks for the input. Will investigate and try to make a video about that too
May nabili Po akong honey lasang alak sya Sabi nung tindera ganun dw Po talaga yon habang tumatagal pero Hindi dw Po yon sira totoo ba ?
It's the first time I hear about honey flavored wines. I don't have much information actually.

Welcome
❤❤❤
Never put metal spoons into honey.
Why?
The metal can, over time if left in, break down the enzymes in honey.
Pati nag tetest nangdadaya hahahaha
Two fake honey, no one it's pure 2:58
Are bewakoof apne Jo honey lia hai usko tho dek k hi bata sakte hai kounsa pure wala honey hai😂
Just tested mine 😮fake..
If you know someone experienced
Then she/he can tell you if it is fake or not by taste
But all this method is useless
waste of my time.....
