You get what you pay for, for this premium speaker I have no doubt that quality and best engineering was used to deliver such a premium speaker. Everything is perfect, size, weight, sound quality and even the voice prompts...have you seen some of the cheap $100 speakers from other manufacturers?
It’s garbage. Sounds amazing but the app is pure shit.
I am totally blind so I can’t see what the speaker actually looks like so I was just wondering, does it have a handle like the Bose sound link revolve? I’m just trying to way up which one to buy. This one would be the winner for me if it just had a carrying handle as well.
To answer your question. Yes it does have a handle. A very good one infact.

@@HammoTechReviews thanks for the lovely compliment! Apple have got their screen reader down to a fine art now. It’s called voice-over and it’s very intuitive and easy to navigate and use for a blind person. Google have also made TH-cam fully accessible with voice-over which also helps. I type by using dictation software. I have to speak the actual punctuation in two. Sometimes when I’m typing in a rush, the dictation software can make mistakes and miss hear what I say with some hilarious results!
@@suehedges that's very impressive and also good on those companies that they've managed to perfect it so well. And yes, I'm sure it does provide some laughable moments when it gets it wrong haha
Just ordered this speaker. Didn’t know if I wanted the revolve plus or the home speaker, but I chose the home speaker because of the Alexa and Google assist. It will be here Wednesday, which is March 8. I also have a Soundlink that’s about 10 years old. I wanted something new and updated and I will probably sell my soundlink. It’s in excellent condition. I was wondering if I could pair it with this one some kind of way, but probably not. :(

I owned the Revolve Plus. Ended up getting the Portable Home Speaker because the sound quality was disappointing. It is well worth the $50 extra. You can't pair the Home Speaker, but it does good on its own anyways.

Do you need to set it up with google or alexa first before you can use thar function??
I believe it can be used as a speakerphone but not sure as to the quality of the mic. Would have to try it out

I left on charger most time. It's in standby mode so you can connect remotely and play when you want

it's not basically a wireless charger... the speaker is mounted on the pad which is plugged into a socket... so yeah wireless...

I have issues where I ask Google assistant to play a radio station and it is unable to find TuneIn but only can when I open the TuneIn app on my phone. Also can you only use Alexa with paid Spotify/Amazon music? My normal Alexa device plays music freely but this bose Alexa is unable unless you pay apparently.
Overall I can only use it as a Bluetooth speaker through phone but voice assistant isn't very useful.
Yea I didn't have it for long but I found the voice assistant had some issues. I think you have to pay for a music service and I'm unsure about the radio

omgg i seriously hatee people, making sound tests with Max volume! people want to hear the sound quality at normal volume, not distorted sound at max volume!

Yes. It doesn’t even have to be other Bose products. As I showed in my comparison video. It can be anything
